Picture it: a teenage mother raised in one of the most poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Monroe, LA. Mashi Epting faced those challenges in life and decided to focus on education, knowing it was the only outlet from poverty. She is now a multi-faceted business mogul helping others transform and grow their business today.
Epting became a mother at the age of 17. Her daughter is now 15 years old. In 2000, her mother became ill with lupus and never fully recovered. Epting’s mother was deemed terminally ill for life, which meant she could not provide or care for her daughter after that diagnosis. This experience left Mashi with nothing to do but learn from the experience and move forward. The circumstances led Mashi Epting to begin her career in healthcare as she watched her mother struggle, and she wanted to help others enjoy and improve the quality of their lives.
Mashi then decided to shift her focus as she started to work with other like-minded individuals. She started her journey of offering opportunities to other individuals. She wanted to teach others that there is no time like the present to gain the success they deserve. Epting focused on teaching all her mentors and partners the importance of achieving quick success and financial freedom by learning the importance of team building.
Epting has grown to build up many other businesses and offers that same opportunity to others, but when is the right time to jump into it? She says, “How much are you willing to bet on yourself? When will you stop wading in the water and jump in? Do you not believe that you can adapt and create the life you desire? Are you afraid of the pain and discomfort? Mashi Epting always had hustles and obstacles standing in her way. That did not stop her, as she used those to benefit her and help support her accolades. Despite her own achievements, she says her greatest accomplishment is helping great individuals become greater.
