Success has a shadow side that high achievers rarely discuss. It shows up in the anxiety that lies beneath high performance, the hollowness behind impressive accomplishments, and the question: Is this all there is? For emotional healing coach and entrepreneur Lesley Christine, this shadow drives her most impactful work.

Lesley leads Living the Game of Life, a transformational platform serving high-achieving midlife women who’ve discovered that external success doesn’t always lead to internal peace. Through her Mastering the Game of Life™ program and her proprietary RECLAIM Framework™, she’s built a business model around a counterintuitive premise: if you want to make progress, consider letting go rather than pushing harder.

The Journey from Corporate Security to Aligned Purpose

After earning her BA and BFA, Christine stepped into a “temporary” insurance job that unfolded into a 13-year corporate career. The stability of her job was reassuring, but the slow erosion of her creativity made her wonder if she was missing her chance to build a more meaningful life.

A turning point arrived in 2015 when a devastating flood displaced her family. Lesley and her partner took that opportunity to leave corporate life, sell nearly everything, and travel full-time with their children. But being on the road didn’t dissolve her anxiety. And that was when she realized her stress wasn’t rooted in external circumstances; it was stored in her body.

Turning Personal Healing Into a Repeatable System

Determined to heal, Lesley Christine immersed herself in emotional release and energy work, eventually becoming a Certified Metapsychology Coach. As she cleared old patterns and rebuilt internal trust, she recognized that the methodology that was helping her restore her own life had the potential to systematically support others.

Her early clients began experiencing similar breakthroughs she had experienced through necessity.

When the pandemic paused her coaching practice in 2020, Lesley leaned fully into the spiritual principles she now teaches. The following year brought a deeper test: her partner received a terminal diagnosis, prompting a return home to Arkansas to be near family.

Amid the upheaval, she turned daily to Florence Scovel Shinn’s classic The Game of Life and How to Play It. She affirmed for her partner, “I feel great. I’ve never felt better,” until one day, he echoed those very same words aloud. Against all medical expectations, he experienced a remarkable recovery.

The experience reinforced Lesley Christine’s belief in the power of surrender, emotional congruence, and inner alignment and sparked her vision to bring Shinn’s century-old wisdom to a modern audience.

Publishing as a Business Expansion Strategy

Lesley knew that Shinn’s work had entered the public domain, and the book was approaching its 100-year anniversary. On November 8, 2025, she released The Game of Life and How to Play It: Expanded with Commentary and Guided Practices, pairing the original text with modern insights, journaling prompts, practical applications, and biographical insights.

For Lesley Christine, publishing wasn’t just a creative milestone; it was purpose-driven entrepreneurship. The book serves as both a standalone product and a strategic gateway into her broader ecosystem, bridging her coaching work with potentially greater impact.

Systematizing Transformation

At the center of Lesley Christine’s work is her proprietary RECLAIM Framework™, a six-step methodology that moves through Release, Embody, Clarify, Align, Implement, and Maintain. The framework helps women let go of emotional baggage, rebuild self-trust, and reframe their lives from the inside out.

“Your emotions are a guide showing you both what matters and what you’re still holding onto from the past,” Lesley explains. The premise that internal clarity often leads to external results underpins her entire approach.

Building a Business on Aligned Principles

Lesley Christine’s business model integrates several complementary revenue streams: one-on-one coaching, her Mastering the Game of Life™ program, women’s circles, and the Living the Game of Life community on Skool. She also extends her reach beyond traditional coaching by speaking at women’s groups and spiritual organizations.

Across every offering, Lesley’s leadership philosophy centers on permission rather than pressure. In a culture obsessed with productivity and acceleration, she teaches something radical: the freedom to release, recalibrate, and pursue goals without self-betrayal.

One of Lesley Christine’s core teachings—that external reality often reflects internal states—translates directly to entrepreneurship. “You can’t change anyone else, but when you start to change yourself from the inside, everything around you begins to change too, because the world is your mirror,” she notes.

Her principles are deceptively simple yet profound:

  • Words shape outcomes.

  • Emotions act as guidance systems.

  • Letting go creates freedom.

  • Challenges contain gifts.

  • Internal transformation precedes external shifts.

Redefining Success for High-Achieving Women

Lesley Christine’s work challenges the achievement-driven ethos that equates success with exhaustion. Her business demonstrates that transformation and entrepreneurship are not conflicting pursuits—that sustainable growth can be built on alignment.

“Letting go can be applied to any area of life and usually brings more freedom,” she says. For corporate executives questioning the cost of constant striving, Lesley Christine offers an alternative blueprint: a model of leadership where internal coherence fuels external achievement.

For leaders navigating burnout, her message is direct: Life isn’t something that happens to you, it’s a game you’re invited to play. Through her work, she shows high-achieving women how to play that game consciously, with faith rather than fear, alignment rather than struggle, and purpose rather than pressure.
