In a small Wisconsin town where neighbors still know each other by name, Christina Weitzel has spent the past several years shaping what real estate can look like when it is done with care. Licensed since 2018, she has built a career that goes beyond closings and listings, rooted instead in relationships that take years to earn. Christina works in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, with RE/MAX, helping buyers, sellers, investors, and business owners find spaces that fit the lives they want to build.

Her path into real estate did not begin in a corporate office or a polished training program. It began with years of self-employment, including running a jewelry business, which taught her how to listen, how to follow through, and how to treat people with the kind of attention they remember. That foundation still shapes the way she works today. She is also a busy mom of three active kids and the wife of a small business owner, which means she understands, firsthand, what it feels like to search for a home that fits a real, full, sometimes chaotic life. Her work reflects that.

A Career Built on Self-Employment and Real Experience

Christina has been self-employed her entire adult life, and that history matters. Before real estate, she ran a jewelry business that gave her years of practice in trust, consistency, and detail. When she moved into real estate in 2018, she carried those same habits with her.

She was not starting from scratch. She was applying lessons she had already lived through. That experience continues to shape how she works with her clients today, especially the ones who are nervous, unsure, or buying for the first time.

Showing Up Differently in a Crowded Industry

When she entered real estate, Christina noticed that video was not widely used by agents in her area. She decided to try something different. She started creating short, one-minute highlight videos where she talked through real estate topics in a way regular consumers could understand.

Eight years later, she has stayed with it. “Those videos have become a valuable resource for consumers looking to better understand the market,” she said. It was not positioned as a one-time marketing tactic. It became a long-term commitment to making information easier to reach.

Deeply Rooted in the Community She Serves

Christina has served on her local Chamber board for over six years, supporting small businesses and contributing to conversations about community growth. She is also part of a business task force focused on bringing new businesses into town, something she speaks about with genuine interest.

“I am not just selling homes,” she explained. “I am helping shape the community I live in.” That community work is not separate from her real estate business. It feeds into it. The same people she meets through Chamber events, local organizations, and town initiatives often become clients, neighbors, and trusted contacts she can refer others to later.

Helping Clients Move Through the Process With Less Stress

Many of Christina’s clients come to her with the same quiet problem. They are not sure where to begin. Buying, selling, or investing can feel like too many decisions stacked on top of each other.

Her approach is to act as a connector and a guide from the first conversation. She brings in lenders, contractors, inspectors, and other local professionals she trusts, then walks her clients through the process step by step.

“My goal is to take the stress out of the process and replace it with clarity and confidence,” she said. The work, for her, is less about closing quickly and more about making sure her clients feel prepared for the next step.

Turning Real Estate Into a Way of Giving Back

With every transaction, Christina donates to a nonprofit, a family in need, or a cause that matters, often chosen by the client or the person who referred her. That model has shaped her business into something more than a list of sales. Her recognition reflects both sides of her work. She has earned the RE/MAX Chairman’s Club and Titans Club awards, along with induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. She has also received the Good Neighbor Award from the Wisconsin Realtors Association and was named “Best Of” by her local newspaper.

For Christina, the work is steady, personal, and tied to the place she calls home. That’s what makes people trust her and keep coming back.
