For Thais Saenz, resilience has never been an abstract concept. It was her reality long before she became an entrepreneur. Growing up in Benjamin Constant, a small town deep in the Brazilian Amazon, Saenz’s childhood was defined by isolation, limited resources, and the need to adapt quickly. Her family lived among the Ticuna tribe, in a place so remote it took five days by boat to reach the nearest major city. “When you grow up in an environment like that, you learn how to make something out of nothing,” she says. “You learn how to keep moving, even when everything feels uncertain.”
That ability to adapt became her greatest strength. When she immigrated to the United States at the age of six, she found herself starting over once again. She didn’t speak fluent English, didn’t have a network, and didn’t have a safety net. What she did have was determination and a willingness to outwork any obstacle in her way. “Resilience isn’t about being unbreakable,” she explains. “It’s about learning to rebuild, stronger, every time you fall.”

Saenz’s early years in America were spent climbing the corporate ladder. She began in entry-level positions, quietly observing how successful companies operated. Within a few years, she was managing regional markets across Latin America and the U.S. for major corporations. Each promotion came with new challenges, but Saenz welcomed them. “Every obstacle was training,” she says. “Every difficult season taught me something I would need later.”
That mindset laid the foundation for her company, Saenz Global. After years of leading teams and operations for others, she realized there was a massive gap in one of the largest industries in the U.S. — roofing. Many contractors and business owners were overworked, juggling administrative chaos that kept them from scaling their businesses. Saenz decided to create a solution.
Saenz Global was founded to take that pressure off. The company provides back-office fulfillment exclusively for roofing professionals, integrating directly into CRMs like JobNimbus and AccuLynx to manage scheduling, billing, and client communication. What began as a small team quickly grew into a trusted operational partner for companies nationwide. “We don’t just handle tasks,” Saenz says. “We help our clients create order and peace of mind.”
Her leadership philosophy mirrors her personal story. She approaches challenges as opportunities to strengthen systems rather than setbacks to avoid. That attitude has shaped the culture within her team as well. Saenz encourages open communication, problem-solving, and ownership. “I don’t expect perfection,” she says. “I expect consistency. If something goes wrong, we learn from it and make it better.”
Resilience also shapes how Saenz defines success. For her, success isn’t about avoiding difficulty but about responding to it with clarity and purpose. She often tells her team that hardship is part of the process of building anything worthwhile. “You can’t expect growth without resistance,” she says. “The moments that test you are the ones that define you.”
Today, Saenz Global continues to expand, supported by the same philosophy that guided its founder from the beginning. Clients rely on the company not just for its systems, but for its steadiness. They trust Saenz and her team because they lead with empathy, accountability, and calm under pressure.
Looking back, Saenz sees the parallels between her past and present clearly. The same patience that helped her family thrive in the Amazon now helps her navigate the complexities of modern business. “Resilience isn’t something you learn once,” she says. “It’s something you practice every day.”
For Saenz, that practice is the secret behind her success. It’s what allows her to stay grounded, lead with confidence, and continue turning every obstacle into a blueprint for growth.
