Denise Kirtley, the visionary founder of Rebellion Body, knows firsthand that it’s never too late to transform your life. At nearly 50 years old, Denise found herself at a crossroads, grappling with the physical and emotional challenges of midlife. But rather than accepting this as her fate, she chose to rebel against the narrative of decline and embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

“You know, Covid had hit. This was the summer of 2020,” Denise shares with CEO Weekly. “And I have just decided that I want more for my life. I feel that in midlife, we have two choices. We can give up, or we can choose to get better. And I had hit this wall that I was almost 200 pounds. I was never that heavy in my life. And I just decided I needed to change. I just hit my threshold.”

Denise’s decision to prioritize her health and well-being led her to discover a newfound passion for fitness and nutrition. Drawing from her own experiences and extensive research, she founded Rebellion Body in November 2023, with the mission to help other women transform their lives and thrive in midlife and beyond.

What sets Denise apart is her unique background as a former executive recruiter. “I was an executive recruiter in the Los Angeles area for 26 years, and out of those 26 years, I owned my own firm for 22 of those,” she explains. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the challenges women face in balancing their personal and professional lives, and the toll it can take on their health and well-being.

Now, as the CEO of Rebellion Body, Denise is channeling her business acumen and passion for transformation into creating accessible and effective fitness solutions for women. Her upcoming fitness app, set to launch in July 2024, is a testament to her commitment to empowering women to take control of their health and happiness.

“I’m coming out with a fitness app this summer, which will have full weight programming, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, advanced, home, or gym,” Denise reveals. “And I’m going to go in there weekly and do mindset talks and connect and engage with the women. It will have a community, and this will be priced at about $25 a month.”

Through her app and coaching programs, Denise aims to provide women with the tools, support, and motivation they need to transform their lives, no matter their age or fitness level. She firmly believes that every woman has the power to choose how they age and that it’s never too late to start prioritizing their health and happiness.

“I just believe every woman deserves to have a full life for all of their life,” Denise passionately shares. “And I really believe the way to get there is through keeping our bodies and our minds strong. This is just something I feel I have been given – it’s my life’s purpose to spread this message.”

Denise’s own transformation journey, from a high-powered executive recruiter to a midlife fitness revolutionary, is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and the belief that change is possible at any age. With the highly anticipated launch of the Rebellion Body app, Denise is poised to inspire and empower countless women to rebel against the status quo and embrace a future filled with strength, vitality, and endless possibilities.

As Denise continues to lead the charge in revolutionizing the way women approach midlife and beyond, one thing is clear: with the right mindset, support, and tools, any woman can transform their life and become the best version of themselves, no matter their age or background.
