For generations, African American young men have gone through challenges of unfair treatment, discrimination, and racism.  As President of Black Men Reign, we’re taking action to uplift the lives of Black men by promoting positive awareness and focusing on  achievements within their communities and environments various arenas, which includes  education, entrepreneurial endeavors, and business. “Black Men Reign, offers access to enrichment programs and opportunities that place special emphasis on personal development and learning. “By speaking to the next generation. Our organization helps to reinforce their goals and aspirations and pushes them to their next level in life. self-worth, goals, and aspirations, the organization reinforces the message that young men need not objectify themselves or Black Men Reign held its 1st Annual Awards Dinner, on, Father’s Day of 2022. It was an evening of Black Excellence.  22 hardworking, deserving, men were honored that evening. “It is easy to recognize famous faces, however, at BMR, we celebrate the everyday man that goes to work and takes care of his family to leave a legacy. The extraordinary man next door, whether he’s known or not. The black man is the focal point and center of our organization,” Sabrina shared. Black Men Reign is the perfect avenue to help young men with their personal development to prepare for what lies ahead. Boosting their self-worth, self-confidence, and awareness of the world is one of several methods the organization intends to employ & remove the stigma of Black men. In addition, it recognizes the need for positive self-images to establish a solid legacy for them across the country. There is much work to be done to change the plight of the next generation of African Americans across the country today, but Sabrina is willing to do what it takes to take her initiative to the next level and see a new generation of people succeeding in their chosen careers in the future. “I am determined to create a culture interruption regarding our black men. To change the narrative about their portrayal in the media. Help me in rallying our Black men back to the forefront of their families and communities. We’re organizing a way to save our young black sons from school-to-prison pipeline system,” she expressed. Through Black Men Reign and its advocacies, Sabrina intends to make a lasting impact on the lives of young African-American men who wish to make a respectable name for themselves and be treated with dignity in their chosen careers. As they get empowered to become the best version of themselves, Sabrina and Black Men Reign can only hope that they have done their part well and that their recipients will step up to the challenge of pursuing success in life. A native of Saginaw, Michigan, and oldest of five children, she’s very passionate about many different things however BMR holds dear to her heart. As the mother of two sons, she’s often quoted saying, you only get one chance to be the best mother/parent you can be, make it count.
