Driven by an insatiable thirst for creativity, Gary’s journey took a melodious detour during his college years. While pursuing a film major, he found himself drawn to the captivating world of music. Joining a rock band as a frontman, producer, and director, he realized the immense potential that lay at the intersection of art and business. 

Transitioning out of college and with an innate desire to streamline trade settlement processes, Fredericks found himself on Wall Street leveraging this cutting-edge technology to automate collections from other financial firms, ensuring a seamless flow of funds. 

This innovative approach not only revolutionized his department but also solidified his reputation as a trailblazer in the industry.

After 20 + successful years on Wall Street, Gary turned his attention to the more philanthropic world of public education. Fredericks became the CEO of a company in Delaware that helped solve several problems in the charter school industry. He turned a small startup non-profit into a $1.3 million enterprise in 5 years, helped provide liquidation for charter schools to afford facilities and created a whole new business market by providing schools with affordable back office support.  

He left the non-profit to start his own for-profit company. The journey of OnPoint Partners began with their first client, a venture firm based in Chicago, which required financial analysis and support during a business acquisition. Through their expertise and meticulous approach, OnPoint Partners helped the firm navigate the complexities of the merger, ensuring a seamless transition and setting the foundation for their subsequent growth.

As the reputation of OnPoint Partners grew, so did the range of services they offered. The team successfully tackled diverse challenges, from reconciling complex financial records for a credit union to discovering and addressing fraudulent organizational activities.
