Having a clear outlook on your future goals can help you better plan for what lies ahead, both the expected and the unexpected. An important part of this planning process is wealth management with a strategy that helps you maintain and potentially grow your wealth. Yet, wealth management requires a strong foundation of financial literacy, and this is where Michael Merlin and Merlin Wealth Management (MWM) step in.

Merlin Wealth Management aims to take complex aspects of financial literacy and make them simple. To help you plan for the future, Merlin’s new book, Financial Longevity: Increase Your Wealth Span, Spend Money Guilt-Free, and Gain the Confidence to Enjoy Your Bigger Future, provides simple, actionable steps on how to increase your wealth span.

About Michael Merlin

Michael Merlin is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) who was inspired to pursue a career in wealth management by his grandmother, a Holocaust survivor. Being the only person who could explain her finances in a way she could understand, Merlin has built MWM under the concept that, no matter how wealthy someone becomes, financial planning does not need to be so complicated that they couldn’t explain it themselves.

As the financial world becomes more difficult to navigate, MWM seeks to help clients make sense of their finances, empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to take control of their futures and achieve financial longevity. With extensive experience in multi-generational and philanthropic planning and advisory techniques, as well as asset management, Merlin leads MWM to create customized wealth plans that are grounded in the best practices for each family.

The MWM Team

The MWW team is composed of teachers–individuals who enjoy educating their clients and take the time to better understand their values. The team continually searches for insights into what’s behind the client’s goals–why they want to create a legacy, why they want to be charitable, and beyond.

In 2020, MWM combined with Rockefeller Capital Management, merging their high standards for client service, proprietary asset management business, and multigenerational advisory practice with Rockefeller’s distinguished family-office services and resources.

Financial Longevity

Merlin’s new book, Financial Longevity, addresses the partnership between wealth span and life span. As people are living longer today, the need to prepare for financial longevity is crucial.

In Financial Longevity, Merlin simplifies the complex world of financial planning, offering a clear guide to increase your wealth span and enjoy a more fulfilling future. Whether you are just beginning your financial journey or want to ensure you are on the right track, Financial Longevity is an essential guide to help you live your best life.

Merlin identifies three “financial diseases” in his new book that cause short wealth spans and provides actionable strategies for treating each. The book discusses ways to maximize your wealth, spend money guilt-free while growing your assets, and enjoy a better future with confidence. Merlin hopes the book will serve as a financial guide to building good financial habits through quality advice.

All proceeds from the book will provide funding for The Perpetual Path Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing financial education, as well as additional contributions to the community and advanced learning initiatives.
