KeyCrew Media, the real estate media company known for its expert-sourced market coverage, has partnered with Leading Estates of the World to expand its reach into the luxury real estate space. The partnership brings together a media company built on technology and expert interviews with a 57-year-old publication that helped create the luxury estates category.

Founded in 1969 by Robert and Pamela Kelsey, Leading Estates of the World pioneered luxury real estate publishing, building a legacy across more than 100 magazine issues and an exclusive global network of elite brokers representing extraordinary estates on five continents. Its pages have featured some of the most remarkable properties in the world, from the half-million-acre W.T. Waggoner Ranch in Texas to Frank Sinatra’s Malibu estate.

A Legacy Worth Building On

For KeyCrew Media Co-Founder and CEO Steve Marcinuk, the appeal of Leading Estates starts with its history. “It’s a great historic brand, a great storied brand,” Marcinuk said. “We love what they’ve been doing. We’re delighted to bring this legacy brand to the next level with increased digital and content licensing and distribution to bring it to a new audience, and we’re really excited about this partnership.”

A Tech-Forward Approach to Real Estate Media

Marcinuk said the partnership reflects how KeyCrew Media positions itself in the broader real estate media space. “At KeyCrew Media, we’ve been really focused on bringing a tech-forward and expert approach to everything we do in the real estate media space,” he said. “This partnership gives us the opportunity to further leverage our team and technology to make a significant impact in the luxury space in partnership with this brand. We’re really excited about a number of new initiatives we’ll be disclosing later this year.”

What the Partnership Includes

The partnership includes expanded relationships with leading agents and brokers across U.S. and international markets, showcasing their finest listings and curating expert perspectives on where the luxury market is really moving. KeyCrew will also license and syndicate Leading Estates’ coverage across its publisher network, extending the brand’s reach to new readers.

A Mutual Fit

Chris Webster, CEO and Publisher of Leading Estates of the World and head of Webster Estates in Santa Fe, acquired the brand with his son, Christopher Webster III, in 2015. “Upon meeting the KeyCrew Media team, we were deeply impressed by their editorial capabilities and tech-forward approach to real estate media,” Webster said. “We’re delighted to partner with them to bring Leading Estates to new audiences and strengthen everything we do.”

Chris Webster summed up the Leading Estates ethos this way: “For those with the means, indulge yourself; for those with the dreams, enjoy yourself.” Readers can learn more about the publication at LeadingEstates.com.
