Johnnie Spencer On Sharing His God-Given Gifts And Talents To The World And Serving As A Beacon Of Hope

Although today’s industries have become more accessible and people now have a greater shot at success, surviving and thriving amid the competition remain challenging. But Johnnie Spencer, a Contemporary Christian Gospel Artist and the mind at the helm of Bright N Morningstar Productions Worldwide, is confident that he will manage to rise through the ranks, connect with listeners across the globe, and introduce his artistry worldwide. This certainty is rooted in the fact that he’s pursuing a career in music as willed by God and fueled by the desire to serve as a beacon of hope to those who are socially, mentally, emotionally, physically financially, and spiritually struggling.

Bearing a story that showcases the power of God in guiding and restoring even the most broken, Johnnie is the voice behind the songs “I Lift My Hands to You,” “New Jerusalem,” “A New Beginning,” “God Will Cover You,” “Worthy to be Praised,” “Thank you,” and “Thinkin’.” He dipped his toes in the music scene to share his God-given gifts and talents, to encourage those currently stumped by life challenges, regardless of their circumstances.

“It is my mission to respect all people, reinforce the feeling of hope that’s been lost, and help reignite the faith that’s been missing among people who need encouragement, whether that encouragement comes from the music God inspires me to make or through the encouraging content God inspires me to post on my social media,” said the go-getter.

If anyone can talk about what it’s like to struggle, fail, and get back up, it is Johnnie. The multifaceted artist initially did not set his eyes on making a name as a musician, trying his hands instead to work in retail, the military, the restaurant business, mens bodybuilding and even serve as a QA Navy Inspector working for General Dynamics. When those did not pan out the way he wanted to, he found himself lost, and adrift It was God who guided him back.

“Every job I worked at, I felt there had to be something more than what I was doing. I thought my last job (General Dynamics), was going to be my biggest break. Literally the job became my biggest break. I broke my arm on the job. Severe anxiety and stress caused me to fall into a deep dark place of depression. Suicide attempts were made. I lost my Mother January 2021.  About a week or so after she passed I received a letter saying I was administratively terminated. Rocks crumble and fall but they are still a mountain’s foundation. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to reach the mountain top. And sometimes in order to rise, you have to fall just like a rock. I found that God will put you in a position where He is the only one you can depend on, but He will also be the only One who can restore you. But understand that God is there, and you’re not going through all these things for no reason, but for a purpose. You see, adversity, trials, and tribulations has a way of pulling you from where you used to be, and putting you where you need to be,” Johnnie candidly shared.

Now, Johnnie is pouring his heart into writing, singing, and producing songs that echo the values he consistently adheres to: peace, prosperity, and reform. Highly cognizant of the role music plays, he is also wielding its power as he serves as a vessel of God to encourage men, women, and children alike.

In the years to come, Johnnie plans to enjoy a position at the forefront of the music industry, releasing more songs that stay aligned with his deep-seated spiritual conviction. Additionally, the inspirational artist aims to push Bright N Morning Star Productions to greater heights and use his influence to make a difference in the lives of others.
