Tell me all about ADPList

Suresh: ADPList (Amazing Design People List) is a platform that connects aspiring designers, developers, product managers, and other tech professionals with experienced mentors from various fields. It offers mentees the chance to schedule one-on-one sessions with industry experts to receive guidance on career development, skill improvement, portfolio reviews, and industry insights. ADPList mentors volunteer their time, making it an accessible, free resource for those looking to advance their knowledge and careers in design and technology. 

In addition to mentorship, ADPList fosters a supportive global community with events, workshops, and resources to help professionals grow and succeed in the tech industry.

How is your experience with ADPList mentoring?

Suresh: With over two decades of experience in the technology field, I have had the opportunity to work across various roles and projects that have shaped my understanding of complex systems and solutions. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply passionate about using my skills and insights to give back to the community, sharing what I’ve learned to help others succeed. Driven by this commitment, I joined ADPList as a mentor last year, where I have the privilege of supporting and guiding individuals seeking to advance in their technology careers.

Through ADPList, I work with a diverse range of mentees, offering insights and hands-on guidance in essential areas like API development, cloud migration, microservices, database management, and the Spring Framework. My mentorship style focuses on providing practical knowledge, discussing industry trends, and sharing real-world scenarios to help mentees not only grasp technical concepts but also develop problem-solving skills crucial for long-term success. I believe in tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my mentees, whether they’re early in their careers or seasoned professionals looking to expand their expertise.

Recognizing the growing importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning in today’s tech landscape, I recently began incorporating these topics into my mentorship. I guide individuals through foundational AI and ML concepts, and practical applications, and offer insights into leveraging these technologies in projects and workflows. This has opened exciting new avenues to support mentees eager to stay at the forefront of technological advancement.

Mentoring has been an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing me to contribute meaningfully to the professional journeys of others while continuously deepening my own knowledge. I look forward to expanding my role in this community, staying engaged with emerging technologies, and making a lasting impact on those I mentor.

How was the 1st year celebration?

Suresh: It was fantastic! Here’s a list of the mentors who attended, along with the other mentees who joined the session. People all over from Atlanta joined the celebration.

About Suresh Dodda

Suresh Dodda commands an impressive 24-year career in technology, fortified by a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, he holds the prestigious certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect. He has collaborated with prominent international clients such as Dubai Telecom, Nokia, Epson, Mastercard, and ADP. Suresh, a well-known figure in the tech industry, has conducted extensive research in AI/ML and authored multiple articles in international journals/conferences, with a primary focus on digital technology, AI, and ML. Suresh Dodda serves as a book reviewer for BPB, a well-regarded Asian publication known for its influence in the region.  Additionally, he contributes as a reviewer for IEEE conferences, Springer Conferences, and IGI global publications providing critical assessments of scholarly submissions. Suresh Dodda, drawing upon his unparalleled expertise, occupies the esteemed position of a distinguished judge for prestigious awards such as the IEEE, Globee, AVIA and TITAN awards. Suresh Dodda is a Fellow of IETE, and a Senior Member of IEEE.
