After working with the world’s biggest and influential automotive companies, Gulroz joined NXP Semiconductors, one of the largest Automotive Semiconductor companies globally, part of S&P 500, and one of the Top 100 Global Innovators in the world. He joined the esteemed Safety Architecture team in MCU/MPU Engineering Department in the company, as a Sr. Functional Safety Architect where he is currently architecting some of the leading and most advanced automotive chips in the world. His work involves architecting some of the most complex and safety-critical Automotive System-on-Chips (SoCs) which are used to power complex applications in the next-generation Autonomous, Connected and Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs). 

Gulroz’s leadership and technical prowess in functional safety quickly made him an industry trailblazer. He played a pivotal role in driving the SAE STPA Recommended Practices Guidelines, an industry guidance document for automotive safety. During his time working on the SAE guidelines, he collaborated with some of the most notable technology leaders and executives in the field of functional safety which is a testament to his impactful contributions in this domain.

With the rise of artificial intelligence in the automotive sector, Gulroz’s work and talks have been focused on advocating for safe and traceable AI integration in safety-critical applications.
