For many people, filmmaking is a dream. For Sherice, it became a decision.

As the founder of HustlHER Film & Media and the creator of Pillow Talk Houston, Sherice has spent years carving out her own lane in entertainment. What began as a media platform eventually evolved into film production, allowing her to tell stories that connect with everyday people while creating opportunities for actors, creators, and aspiring talent.

Rather than waiting for someone to open a door, Sherice decided to build her own. She taught herself the business, assembled casts and crews, secured locations, and learned firsthand what it takes to bring a project from an idea to the screen.

That determination led to the release of The Group Chat Seasons 1 and 2, both now streaming on Tubi. Seeing her work on a major streaming platform was more than a personal accomplishment; it was proof that independent filmmakers can compete in spaces once thought to be out of reach.

Now she’s preparing for the release of Babymama, her latest film set to premiere on Tubi soon. The project represents another step forward as she continues to expand her catalog and reach new audiences.

While many people only see the finished product, the behind-the-scenes road has required sacrifice, long hours, setbacks, problem-solving, and an unwavering belief in the vision. Every project has brought new lessons, from production and distribution to the importance of marketing and audience growth.

And she’s far from finished.

With multiple projects already in development, Sherice isn’t focused on a single release; she’s focused on building something that lasts. Her goal is to continue creating films, providing opportunities for talent, and growing HustlHER Film & Media into a recognized force in independent entertainment.

For Sherice, The Group Chat and Babymama are not the destination; it’s the beginning.
