“The moment I chose to jump, I stopped surviving and started leading. Now I teach others to do the same.” — Linnsey Dolson, Founder of The Jump Effect.

In a world that often glamorizes overnight success, Linnsey Dolson stands as a living, breathing example of what it truly means to earn transformation. A former addict who once faced the depths of a 12-year battle with meth, Linnsey’s journey is not just one of recovery — it’s a compelling example of how self-leadership can change the course of one’s life. Her pivotal moment came at her lowest: walking down the street, overwhelmed and lost, she made a spontaneous decision to leap into the unknown — literally jumping into the air before checking herself into rehab. That courageous act of surrender became the cornerstone of what she now teaches thousands through her signature mindset coaching method: The Jump Effect. “The ‘aha’ moment happened at the end of my addiction,” she explains. “I was walking, completely overwhelmed, and I either had to change my life or give up. I jumped in the air, pushed past my fear, and went into rehab. That leap was the birth of The Jump Effect.”
Today, Linnsey is a CEO, coach, and movement-maker building a legacy around one bold truth — many people may feel like they’re too far gone to rewrite their story, but transformation may still be within reach. “Being a CEO means stepping into a leadership role where you’re responsible for bettering the lives of everyone you lead,” she shares. “I bring purpose into my decisions by remembering what it’s like to have nothing.” That raw, no-fluff energy is what makes her one of the most relatable and inspiring voices in the personal development space. The Jump Effect stands out for one key reason: its fearless approach to confronting fear. “Fear is what holds most people back,” she says. “Our method helps you push past it.”
Linnsey’s coaching combines structure, automation, and a deeply personal perspective. “Just like any business, there are always initial obstacles,” she notes. “I overcame them by putting in place systems, processes, and automation. Structure and consistency were key.” Her clients’ first transformation? Mindset. “To change your life, you have to change your thoughts first.” This mindset shift is contagious. Her community resonates not because of fluffy affirmations but because of the deep, unapologetic truths she shares. “When you’re raw, others feel safe to be real too.” This authenticity is her superpower — and it’s helped her connect with a wide audience. “Be authentically yourself, be raw, and share your truth,” she advises. “Don’t be embarrassed by your testimony. It can change someone’s life.”
Linnsey uses social media not just as a platform but as a tool to connect with others and inspire positive change. “I use social media to share my truth, reach others, and change lives. It’s about connection and impact.” She’s also focused on challenging common misconceptions around transformation. “Many don’t realize it all starts with your mind. If you want to change your life, you have to change your mindset first. That’s the foundation of any transformation.”
Looking ahead, Linnsey is preparing to scale her impact once again with the upcoming launch of Bonus Round Recovery, a San Diego-based drug and alcohol treatment facility that merges her lived experience with clinical excellence. “My brand is about proving that even if you hit rock bottom, you can still work towards building a beautiful life.”
If she could speak to her younger self at rock bottom, Linnsey would say:
“You can come back from anything. The moment you choose to get sober, your entire life can change. It’s all about that one brave choice.”
From the streets to the stage, from addiction to influence, Linnsey Dolson is more than a survivor — she’s a CEO building a legacy of redemption, resilience, and real change.
