Dr. Linda R. Jordon’s journey didn’t start in a boardroom—it began on a farm in rural Virginia, where she was raised with strong values, a hard work ethic, and an unwavering faith in God’s plan. Today, she is the Founder of LRJ Coaching & Business Solutions, LLC, a high-performance leadership coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping women lead, succeed, and thrive.

“My name is Dr. Linda R. Jordon,” she says proudly. “I’m a wife of more than 30 years, a mother to a beautiful daughter, and a 10-year breast cancer survivor. My journey has been far from easy—but it’s been worth every step.”

Climbing the Corporate Ladder

Before entrepreneurship came calling, Dr. Jordon spent nearly three decades climbing the ranks in corporate America. She held senior leadership roles in sales operations, finance, human resources, and international outsourcing within the pharmaceutical industry.

“I thought I would retire in two and a half more years,” she reflects. “But God had other plans.”

On December 5, 2014—just 30 days shy of her 52nd birthday—Dr. Jordon received a life-altering call: she had breast cancer. “In less than 45 days, I was in surgery,” she shares. “I opted for a double mastectomy with breast reconstruction. It was an 11-hour procedure. Life slowed down, and everything changed.”

But rather than let the diagnosis define her, she used it as a divine interruption—a wake-up call to pursue purpose with passion.

Turning Pain Into Purpose

During her recovery, Dr. Jordon made a bold decision: she began working on her Ph.D. in Organizational Development & Leadership and started studying with the John Maxwell Team. “I knew I had more to give,” she says. “I wasn’t done—I was just getting started.”

In 2018, she launched LRJ Coaching & Business Solutions, LLC. Since then, the business has grown into a full-service firm offering high-performance coaching, leadership training, keynote speaking, and specialized workshops that empower women to embrace their power and purpose.

But it wasn’t smooth sailing from the start.

“The old saying goes, ‘If you build it, they will come.’ But the truth? No, they won’t,” she says with a laugh. “I thought once I had the LLC and website, the phone would ring off the hook. It didn’t. I had to figure out my marketing strategy and how to truly connect. And I had to do it during the pandemic—when everything was on Zoom.”

In a saturated coaching market, Dr. Jordon’s real-world experience and heartfelt mission set her apart. She’s not just a coach—she’s a transformational leader with a lived understanding of what it means to navigate adversity and rise stronger.

Defining Success—and Living It

When asked what success means, Dr. Jordon doesn’t hesitate: “Success means I’ve created a legacy for my daughter. That I’ve made the world a little better. If I can impact one life, that’s success.”

Her own life is already full of accolades:

  • 2025 Citizen of the Year – Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

  • 2024 Community Service Award – Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

She also penned her first book, Unleash Your Inner CEO: A Country Girl’s Guide to Being Your Own Boss, which combines her faith, grit, and leadership experience into a guidebook for aspiring women entrepreneurs.

Now, she’s setting her sights on Book #2 and expanding her nonprofit, Breast Cancer Angel Network, Inc., with the goal of helping 100,000 women who are fighting or have survived breast cancer.

Words of Wisdom

Dr. Jordon’s message to readers? “Never give up on yourself. Your dreams are valid. Stop letting fear and excuses rob you of your future. You don’t need permission to shine. Just start.”

Her life proves that with faith, resilience, and a plan, you can turn setbacks into stepping stones—and build a brand rooted in purpose and power.
