David Lemel’s “Team Powerhouse” Dominating Real Estate in Connecticut

David Lemel is a Real Estate Professional and the Leader of Team Powerhouse at Coldwell Banker. Having worked in the Real Estate industry for over 16 years, David had a vision, that quickly became a reality.

He wanted to create a team of outstanding individuals who would work together for the betterment of their clients and whilst doing so, empower each other to grow within the company and share the lessons they learnt along the way. This is in essence of where the name Team Powerhouse came from… ie to stay as a Powerful Team that treated each other like family.

For David, family has always been the number 1 priority. His family values taught to him by his parents, whom he is super close with are loyalty, trust, and hard work, in everything you do. “Whilst being voted number 1 Agent and Real Estate Team in Connecticut for 5 consecutive years, is wonderful, it keeps everyone on their toes ,such a title is not a given,” and David remains committed to not allowing his Team to slip in that ranking.

David is the eldest of three siblings and was brought up with very strong family values and an entrepreneurial instinct. He was taught to never give up, and whilst to be strong, to always exercise integrity and kindness. His younger sister, Dorit, who had the same values installed in her at an early age, has gone on to become a hugely successful entrepreneur and television personality, having starred in the global television franchise the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the past 5 seasons.

David’s career started in his family’s retail store, where he worked 7 days a week. After years of working in the store, one of his friends, a mortgage broker, introduced him to the real estate industry and deciding to take a leap of faith, David enrolled in a Real Estate class, and earned his license in 2005. It was during this time that David picked up the ins and outs of the industry, following closely his then mentor. By the end of his first year, he was named Sales Rookie of the Year.

In 2006, David started Team Powerhouse, as his business grew quickly, so did his reputation.

The inception of Team Powerhouse forced David to step outside his comfort zone to a great extent. He began by knocking on every door he could, meeting new people, and gaining much needed exposure. Doing this while working 18 hour days and balancing being a husband and father of a 2-year-old was tough, but he had his eyes firmly on the target.

By recruiting only the best professionals, Team Powerhouse is consistently Voted the title of #1 Real Estate Team in CT, selling more than 200 homes per year, and providing the most unique and high quality experience for clients. David and Team Powerhouse

pride themselves on their availability 7 days a week 7am-12am, encouraging clients to reach out whenever they have questions or concerns.
