According to Carolina Lopez Saglietti, the founder of the Superhero Programs and Coach to the Kids Certification Program, today’s children hold the key to a brighter, empowered future.

With over two decades of experience in international business and education, Carolina has become one of the pioneers of mindset programs for children. As an author of books, programs, and educator training, Carolina is changing how children think about their potential by equipping them with the tools to believe in themselves and face life’s challenges resiliently and courageously.

Growing up in a family committed to serving vulnerable communities, Carolina learned firsthand how to bend without breaking. Her approach to children’s education emphasizes the role of mindset in shaping a child’s path toward success and happiness.

She believes that teaching children how to visualize their goals, affirm their self-worth, and regulate their emotions equips them with the skills to face challenges with confidence and poise.

From a Mother’s Wish to Mission Education

Carolina’s venture into children’s education started at home, inspired by her two young daughters. She wanted to instill in them the mindset techniques she had developed throughout her life and career as an entrepreneur, but quickly realized the lack of materials available for children.

Driven by this deficit, Carolina penned her first children’s book, Sliding on a Rainbow, introducing young readers to visualization exercises, positive affirmations, and guided meditations to build self-esteem. “I wanted to give my daughters something that would teach them how to access inner strength, believe in their capabilities, and approach life at large with a sense of possibility,” Carolina says.

Sliding on a Rainbow’s success confirmed that Carolina’s vision went far beyond her family. The book immediately went out of print in the first run of 4,000 copies in English and Spanish, finding children worldwide ready to engage in these empowering exercises.

She followed that with The Magical Activity Book, which helps kids develop positive self-talk and like themselves just the way they are, and with The Secrets to Becoming a Superhero, which further enforces those lessons and teaches children that each of them has a special power inside them.

Self-Affirmation & Visualization: The Power Behind Mindset

Self-affirmation and visualization are core techniques employed in Carolina’s books and programs. Children are taught to speak to themselves positively and affirm their strengths, capabilities, and self-worth. In Sliding on a Rainbow, children are invited to visualize themselves overcoming challenges, reaching their goals, and confidently carrying themselves.

“These exercises help kids see themselves as capable and powerful, instilling a sense in them that they can face anything that comes along their path,” Carolina explains. “This practice builds confidence because they can ‘see’ their strengths and possibilities, even before living them.”

Building Resilience: The Key

Carolina’s work is also focused on teaching children about resilience. Resilience has become very important in today’s fast-paced world, where children are under constant pressure. Her books and Superhero Programs help children understand that setbacks are part of natural growth.

Carolina has implemented the superhero programs in schools across the United States, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and other countries. These programs give children an interactive way to approach their mindset.

Through activities, storytelling, and interactive exercises, children learn to practice positive self-talk, visualize success, and establish a sound base of self-belief. These have become launching pads for teaching children emotional intelligence, self-esteem, and mindfulness during their very tender years of development, helping them establish a resilient mindset that will carry well into adulthood.

Engendering Future Leaders

Carolina’s focus is not just on building individual confidence but rather on raising a generation of future leaders. She strongly believes that teaching children how to harness their mindsets will help them grow up with a strong sense of identity and purpose that translates into effective and impactful leadership.

“When kids feel like they can change things, they start to view themselves as leaders,” Carolina says. “We are not only teaching kids how to manage their own lives but also how to contribute to the lives of all those within their circle of influence.”

Building a Legacy through Empowered Young Minds

Carolina Lopez Saglietti is committed to shaping and empowering the next generation of children. “As I reflect, the biggest gift we can give any child is to believe in themselves,” she says. “I want every child to feel capable, resilient, and ready to create a life that reflects their dreams.” Through her continued work in youth empowerment, she is building a future where children lead confidently and powerfully with every step they take.
