As the curtains rose on this year’s incarnation of the prestigious BizX networking event, the air was electric with anticipation and the spirit of competition. Entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the UK convened in Liverpool, ready to witness which trailblazers would emerge as leaders in their respective fields. This annual gathering spotlights the pinnacle of business achievement and sparks the flame of future collaboration among the best and brightest in their industries.

BizX 2024, the UK’s premier business event, celebrated the achievements of today’s entrepreneurs while equipping them with the tools and insights needed for tomorrow’s challenges. From visionary leaders to groundbreaking strategies, this event was a beacon for anyone looking to elevate their business and personal aspirations.

But more than setting the stage for tomorrow, BizX 2024 highlighted the progress and performance of outstanding companies and entrepreneurs over the past 12 months. Held on 19th April 2024 in Liverpool, this event marked momentous milestones, acknowledging exceptional business acumen across various sectors

Hosted by the charismatic TV presenter Stephen Mulhern, the awards ceremony was a highlight of the two-day conference, featuring a roster of companies that redefined standards in their respective fields:

Worthy winners

Accompanied by a three-course dinner for each attendee, the awards segment was a focal point of BizX 2024, spotlighting companies excelling in various sectors. Mulhern, exuding charm and wit, brought a mix of energy, entertainment, and audience interaction to proceedings. After a day of learning and reflection, it was the ideal intermission to appreciate the past year’s developments.

In recognition of outstanding leadership, Martin Lockyer of WWM Westminster Wealth Mgt was named CEO of the Year, an award sponsored by Zoho and facilitated by coach Lucas Vigilante. Young Entrepreneur of the Year went to Lee Hart of Unbranded Digital, sponsored by Core Workwear Ltd and coached by Jenni Morgan, while Ryan Malee of Create, coached by Jon Asquith, was honored as Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by Votel Venues.

While all nominees made worthy strides forward, some organizations broke barriers and surpassed all expectations in specific fields. FRP Advisory Trading Ltd, led by coach Lucas Vigilante, set the bar high by winning the Best Company Culture award, sponsored by Vestd.

Lawrence Kurt Solicitors followed, clinching the Best Community Impact award with guidance from Harneet Kaur and support from Middlebrooks, honoring their significant societal contributions. The awards continued with Core Events Hospitality Group Ltd, receiving the accolade for Fastest Growing Company, sponsored by Sedulo Funding Solutions and coached by Phil Nassau.

Muddy Boots Nurseries, equipped with Matthew Atkin’s insight and sponsored by Totally247, claimed the Best Service-Based Company award. Meanwhile, Heart Relocation showed exemplary customer engagement, snagging the Best Customer Service award with Chris Churchman’s coaching.

21 Degrees Digital won the Best Marketing Campaign award, thanks to Bill Squires’ expert guidance and sponsorship from Visibility SEO. The digital sector saw fierce competition, with Tilletts Clothing emerging as the Best E-Commerce Company under the mentorship of John McHale and sponsored by Exclusive Rewards.

Achieving the Accolade

The grand finale of the evening was the Best Overall Company award, sponsored by Vodafone and presented to Iconic Digital. James Vincent, ActionCOACH UK’s coach of coaches, was an instrumental advisor to the pioneering organization, marking a perfect end to the celebrations of business excellence.

As BizX 2024 concluded, the winners were left not only with trophies but with renewed inspiration and recognition, affirming their significant contributions to their industries and the broader business community. This ripple effect of success and innovation is poised to inspire and shape the future landscape of the UK business sector, setting a high bar for next year’s anticipated event.
