Adam Vaughan’s Refreshing Perspective Is Revolutionizing the Travel Blog Space
Share on Facebook

In the past few years, traveling has become one of the most popular hobbies and interests of many. Some even dedicate a chunk of their savings to go on month-long excursions. Needless to say, more and more people dream of exploring and going sightseeing around the world. One such citizen of the world is veteran Adam Vaughan, who chronicles his adventures through an aesthetically pleasing and highly educational travel blog.

The inspiring man first caught the travel bug when he joined the Air Force in 1998. He began his journey around the globe when he was deployed shortly after 9/11. Since then, he has been to many places of different conditions and circumstances.

Looking back on the experience, he shared, “Throughout all my deployments to the worst areas in the world, I grew an appreciation for those who had far less, those that were affected, and those that had nothing like we had.” In addition, this experience molded him into a more thoughtful traveler with great regard for the community, lifestyle, and the people he visits.

Eventually, Adam Vaughan saw an excellent opportunity to share his wisdom with the rest of the world through a travel blog. When asked what pushed him to pursue this path, he explained, “The 24 years of traveling the world gave me a huge sense of wonderment and love for traveling and experiencing other cultures. With this, I have decided I want to build my brand around a travel blog detailing my experiences, give recommendations, curate experiences, and become an ambassador and influencer for travel. I have extensive experience with navigating different cultures, immersing myself in them, and growing my appreciation for the world we live in.”

While other travel journalists who focus on things such as travel tips, including how to do so cheaply, the insightful man focuses on more profound things. This includes providing the historical context of an area and getting to know its people better. He also talks about how one can immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of the area they are visiting while still being respectful of its traditions.

As he profoundly explained, “I’ve seen the best and worst of humanity and love all that we as humans have to offer. Happiness for me is experiencing new and different cultures and being able to transport myself to the past and walk in the shadows of giants who came before us.” Because of his excellent perspective and apparent passion for his craft, he has amassed a considerable following on Instagram.

Currently, Adam Vaughan is a Global Operations Manager at Meta, where his work allows him the luxury of travel. But on the other hand, his end goal is to be able to pursue traveling and storytelling as his full-time job. Specifically, he wants to create a distinct brand that will become the go-to page for information on destinations, accommodations, cuisine, and transportation.

But of course, aside from centering it around travel and exploration, the remarkable individual remains steadfast in his advocacy of championing important causes like community, diversity, and inclusion.
