Inspiration Strikes: How Sandra Possing Transformed From Shy Girl to Life Coach and CEO

Growing up, she was always known as the nice one. Sweet and accommodating and a “good girl” in every way, Sandra was easy to have around and often praised by adults for her good behavior, and academic and athletic achievements. Underneath the exterior, however, she was often frustrated, but didn’t understand why.

Eventually, after starting to explore the personal development world, she began to understand that much of the “good girl” behavior that she received frequent positive reinforcement for was actually driven by people-pleasing, perfectionism, and a deep yearning to prove her worth.

Seeking to understand and navigate her own unhelpful tendencies was part of what sparked her desire to help others do the same. And now Sandra Possing has turned that mission into a thriving international business.

She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, but as an early adopter of the digital nomad lifestyle, has been running her location independent business from her laptop for the last 10 years. Sandra’s company is dedicated to improving peoples’ lives, in a holistic and sustainable way.

The demand for life coaches has increased dramatically in the last few years. According to the International Coaching Federation, the number of coaches estimated worldwide has increased in size by 33%, from 53,300 to 71,000, since 2015.

For Sandra, this is not just a business, but rather quite a bit more personal. As Sandra details in her own story, “Growing up, I remember spending a lot of time feeling self-conscious, and uncomfortable in my own skin.

Sandra describes in her blog how she navigated her own challenges of realizing she was not living up to her true potential and how that led to guiding and mentoring people through similar journeys. She does this through one-on-one coaching, group programs, online courses, speaking engagements, and social media.

She has also been featured on platforms such as Entrepreneur, Yahoo, WikiHow, Disrupt Magazine, and numerous podcasts, and is emerging as a thought leader in the personal development space.

Her clients’ results include gains like improvements in their productivity, focus, leadership, decision-making skills, work life balance and stress management. They reconnect to their passions, find more purpose and pleasure in their daily lives, and feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin.

Trained in coaching and leadership at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), certified  as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), equipped with powerful tools, and having helped hundreds of happy clients transform their lives, Sandra is on a mission to help more people wake up to their own power and unlock their potential.

She helps people unleash their inner badass. Her process for doing so involves first getting clear on who they are and what they truly desire, and then holding them accountable to taking baby steps toward those dreams. She believes in doing regular mindset work to start rewiring our brains to adopt healthier and more empowering belief systems, and in the importance of learning how to regulate our nervous systems, manage our emotions, and cultivate mindfulness and presence in our daily lives.

Follow her social media platforms, and let her inspire, empower, and challenge you to step up your game with her unique brand of sassy and accessible wisdom. And keep an eye out for her personal development podcast coming in early 2023!
