When Daniella Levy, co-founder and CEO of Happy V, set out to solve her own recurring vaginal health issues, she didn’t imagine it would lead to a company reshaping the women’s wellness industry. “I’d tried everything: boric acid, vitamin C, even garlic,” she says. “Nothing worked. So I thought, maybe we can build something that does.”

Partnering with her husband and co-founder Hans Graubard, whose family has manufactured nutraceuticals for three decades, Levy created a probiotic that finally brought her relief. That formula became Happy V’s flagship product, the Prebiotic + Probiotic, and sparked a mission far larger than supplements.

From Personal Struggle to Shared Mission

More than 21 million women in the U.S. experience bacterial vaginosis (BV) or similar conditions each year, yet few talk about it (CDC, 2022). Levy decided to change that. When a candid TikTok post about vaginal health went viral overnight, the floodgates of conversation flew open.

“That moment showed me how ready women were for honesty,” Levy describes. “It wasn’t just about selling a product; it was about saying, ‘You’re not alone.’ It proved that women were ready for real talk and real science. We built Happy V to be that bridge: Accessible, evidence-based, and rooted in empathy.”

Leading with Compassion and Concrete Data

Levy describes her leadership as collaborative and mission-driven. “I like to explore the room with my voice,” she says. “I invite feedback and trust my team to bring their perspective.”

That team, nicknamed The Fearless Five, runs on transparency and humor. “We talk openly, even about disagreements,” Levy describes. “Our culture mirrors our mission: create safe spaces for honest conversations.”

Behind that openness is rigorous science. Happy V owns its manufacturing and invests heavily in clinical and pre-clinical research, partnering with international laboratories and universities. One early study showed its probiotic inhibited Gardnerella vaginalis, a key bacterium behind infection (Eurofins Preclinical In-Vitro Study on Happy V Dr. Formulated Vaginal Probiotic, 2024).

“There are too many products with great marketing but poor formulation,” Levy says. “We’re proving that credible science and relatable storytelling can coexist.”

Growth with Purpose

Happy V has since expanded into hormone balance, menopause, and ovarian health, each product backed by research and physician guidance. Next to come? Fertility, prenatal, and even a man’s line focused on testosterone and reproductive health. “We want to support people through every stage of life,” Levy says.

That holistic vision includes healthcare providers. At the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) conventions in 2024 and 2025, Happy V educated doctors on supplement safety and manufacturing. “Most physicians were never trained to evaluate supplement quality,” Levy notes. “We want to better serve them by making sure they know how to read the research and feel confident that this product is safe.”

A Mission Rooted in Integrity

Every Happy V purchase supports Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit delivering essential nutrients to women and children worldwide. “We’re close to one million lives impacted,” Levy says proudly. “That’s the kind of ROI that matters.”

Still, it’s the personal stories that fuel her most. “Women tell us, ‘You saved my marriage’ or ‘I can finally sleep in the same room as my husband,’” she describes. “That’s when it hits you; we’re restoring confidence, not just selling supplements.”

From Stigma to Strength

Levy’s journey, from frustrated consumer to founder changing global dialogue, embodies resilience and purpose. “If there’s one thing I’d tell any woman who’s ever felt embarrassed about her body, it’s this,” she says. “You’re not alone. Sit with that feeling, then act, seek answers, and find community. There’s strength in sharing.”

For Levy, that conviction fuels every decision. “We’re not trying to be the loudest brand,” she posits. “We’re trying to be the most trusted.”
