Very few achieve what they really want when it comes to home service businesses. For David Moerman, these goals have become a reality, and he’s helping others do the same through his Home Service Business Coach (HSBC). Coming from a business operation background and being a mentor at heart, David is able to share real-life solutions for how people can turn their home service businesses into self-running, profitable assets.
Introducing David Moerman
David’s journey started in Langley, British Columbia, where he was able to develop commercial experience very early on. He initially managed a team at University First Class Painters, where he served as a franchise manager, painting 31 homes in his first summer of operation. He went on to start his own company, Elite Trade Painting, through which he gained more insight regarding excellent service provision. Nevertheless, the creation of Revive Services in 2016 became a starting point of David’s story in the home service sphere. Through Revive Services, David donates a portion of profits to water projects, notably through partnerships with “Hope International,” which supports water-related projects in Cambodia and Nepal. Then, in 2020, instead of franchising his exterior washing business, David came up with HSBC. His mission was to help other home service business owners become CEOs and overcome the common challenges of excessive work hours, inconsistent cash flow, and business management issues.
About Home Service Business Coach
HSBC addresses the three major challenges that many home service entrepreneurs face: generating a steady flow of leads, hiring dependable employees, and achieving operational efficiency. Rather than focusing on expensive advertising, David wants other business people to be “well-known” within their locales through reputation-building and strategic contact-making.
When it comes to hiring, David focuses on selecting “A+ talent,” a team that owners can rely on. His work doesn’t focus on just finding employees but on helping businesses develop into an environment that eager talent wants to work in. In business management, HSBC offers complete solutions that make a business run like a smoothly oiled machine.
David Moerman’s Coaching Methods
David’s practical coaching methods, developed from his personal experiences, focus on reducing the owner’s hours and increasing the business’s efficiency and profitability.
Members in the program receive nine specific modules with over 60 instructional videos dedicated to every aspect of developing a thriving home service enterprise. These modules cover issues such as growing revenue streams, automation, and managing working and family responsibilities. Other identified bonuses for members include weekly group Accountability Coaching Calls, where specific questions and direct answers can be received from industry professionals.
It’s not just information that the members at HSBC are fed with, but the team at HSBC works with members to create simple systems for their business. Many of the business owners HSBC works with have very basic or no systems at all.
From HSBC, owners don’t just get theory; they get real practical coaching. These systems can be applied immediately, which means that any businessman can quickly avoid the 16 years of trial David took to become successful. In fact, the program provides more of a structured plan, with some firms reporting being able to accomplish in two or three years what otherwise would require more time to accomplish. Some HSBC members have reported impressive revenue growth within 12 months of completing the program.
David Moerman is transforming the home service industry and setting a new business coaching and entrepreneurship standard. His growth from cleaning and painting exteriors to forming and leading HSBC stands as a powerful example of what’s possible when one combines experience, vision, and a genuine desire to make a difference. David and his team at HSBC are working hard to create the most practical and genuine coaching program in the home service industry.
