After experiencing some of life’s most challenging trials, like growing up without a father and facing uncertainty, Clarence Wallace stays true to his innately optimistic approach. He only looks back with appreciation for the lessons he’s learned in the inevitable growth process.

“Once you know who you are as a person,” says Clarence, “You don’t need the validation of others. It’s not so much what people think, say, or believe, but what you know about yourself that truly matters.”

As an insightful author, public speaker, and self-proclaimed ‘student of life,’ Clarence remains dedicated to teaching others the limitless power of the human psyche. While individuals around the world battle with the perils of mental illness, instability, and financial strain, he reminds them that it’s never too late and a simple shift in perspective is all it takes to unlock a realm of new possibilities.

After returning to school and obtaining a degree in exercise science at the age of 50, Clarence represents a man who puts into action the words he extends to others, not letting time dictate his ability to acquire valuable knowledge. He was selected as the valedictorian of his graduating class, defying convention and leaving behind him a reframed definition of what a ‘student’ really entails.

He continues: “The moment you start to think you know everything, life finds a way to humble you, and you soon realize you know very little. To be ever-evolving and ever-learning is a blessing – one we should accept with open arms and let drive our journeys throughout life.”

However, Clarence’s path to becoming the motivational and self-assured individual he is today did not come without struggle. For those who tend to appear so effortlessly positive—doubt, worry, and conflicting thoughts have once been a battle to overcome. Yet, at this point, an individual must make a pivotal choice: to let the light shine through amid adversity or to let the darkness take over. As a man of faith, Clarence had no choice but to disregard the latter, fighting past inhibiting beliefs to share his experiential wisdom with others.

To do so, Clarence found the right outlet: his natural way with words. Now, on the eighth edition of his thought-provoking narrative entitled ‘Nourishment for the Soul: Quotes he Wrote,’ he continues to spread his meaningful message of unwavering hope, resilience, and compassion.

He adds: “I cannot possibly live a life of regret because every step of my journey has helped me become who I am today – instilling in me an understanding of others who may be facing similarly hard times. If you can master the art of blocking out the external noise and becoming complete within yourself, you can overcome anything that comes your way. The first step is accepting that which we cannot control – what follows is true freedom and full agency of one’s authentic self.”

With education at the heart of his mission, Clarence Wallace proceeds to further his knowledge of psychology and the human soul, granting him the ability to approach such topics from a place of honest understanding. As a well-rounded student of life, he champions progression over perfection, guiding others to re-evaluate the limiting patterns of belief that may be blocking their internal growth.
