Amidst the inevitable trials of lifeālike health issues, financial strains, unexpected setbacks, and sudden lossesāit takes a certain level of strength to remain positive, kind, and grateful. Typically, individuals with such characteristics tend to leave a lasting impact on others, empowering them through their infectious energy and dedication to seeing the glass āhalf full.ā
Although smiling through the hardest times is certainly easier said than done, those who manage to do so, despite experiencing some of lifeās challenging moments, often hold the blueprint to achieving a more happy and purpose-driven life. Sharing her experiential wisdom on the matter, she is an advocate, holistic lifestyle coach, mentor, and motivational speaker, Alexi Bracey, who is also a cancer survivor, dedicated volunteer, and trained chef. She embodies the very mindset she instills in her clients, seeking to make the world a better place, one warm encounter, hug, or joke at a time.
Alexi comments: āJust over 25 years ago, I answered a call from my doctor that no person wishes to receive. Before hanging up the phone, I had already concluded that I was going to fight my diagnosis – beating cancer only a year later, with no medical intervention. This opened the door to new possibilities, leading me to uncover holistic practices, experience a more refined diet, and inform others on their own paths to recovery.ā
Ever since, Alexi has worked at multiple wellness centers, taught āhappinessā classes, and cultivated a glowing reputation as a plant-based chef. Through her work, she has come to realize the transformative power of energy, taking inspiration from the American engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla, who famously said: āIf you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.ā
Alexi continues: āTodayās world lacks a necessary dose of happiness. Complaining and shaming, wars, and famines have become the norm. A little bit at a time, everyone can play their part to make a real difference in their own lives and for those around them. For me, it began with telling a light-hearted joke to make someoneās day or sharing my gratitude for the barista behind the coffee counter. These small gestures may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but even a simple smile can really go a long way.ā
Taking this a step further, Alexi began writing a newsletter, helping mothers raise happier kids in the ever-changing landscape of the modern day. With a particular focus on the younger generation, she discusses many insightful ways to help children develop emotional intelligence and become resilient adults as they come of age.Ā
For employees and corporate professionals, Alexi offers specialized mentorship programs designed to bring humanity into the pressure-fueled, mechanical nature of the workplace. While juggling an array of stressful tasks, like meeting tight deadlines and performing at an optimal level for extended periods, staff across all industries are experiencing burnout on a global scale. As a response, Alexi has developed a unique methodology to uplift the workforce and help them feel more seen, heard, and appreciated.
āOverall, we need more mindfulness and compassion, we need a place to share our feelings without being ridiculed or criticized, and we need a space to feel truly acknowledged and understood,ā says Alexi. āWeāre not robots, we shouldnāt just be surviving but truly thriving. If people around the world took a step back and asked themselves what they wish to be remembered for, it would rarely be their social media presence or digital footprint but more likely, their real-world impact, the joy they offered to people, and the legacy they left as valuable members of society.ā

With her positive outlook and remarkable resilience, Alexi Bracey is well-placed to share her knowledge with her growing portfolio of clientele. She comes from a place of experience, understanding, and optimism – infusing her work with scattered humor and everyday feel-good stories. Alexi helps lay the foundations for a more gratified, socially conscious future by ensuring others are equipped with the inner resources to overcome adversity.
