Jason Lamonica, COO of premiere blue-collar staffing company Spec on the Job, has over 20 years of experience in blue-collar staffing and leadership. Yet, interestingly enough, he got his start in the industry by accident. “I was working in marketing,” Lamonica says. “Eventually, I realized that wasn’t going to turn into a long-term career for me. I had always been interested in the skilled trades, though, so I thought they might be a good area to get into.” It’s a good thing for employers and employees in blue-collar industries that he did.
