The present generation continues to show a great interest in modeling and acting as professions, resulting in a greater demand for modeling and acting schools in order for aspiring individuals to prepare adequately for the cutthroat industries. Former model, actress, and business owner Franchesca Nival is responding to this market by being at the forefront of empowering people to be stand-out models and actors through her Franchesca Talent Academy University (FTAU). Formerly known as Franchesca Talent Academy (FTA), the modeling and acting school was established in 2017 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Franchesca had a clear vision in mind when she decided to step out of her comfort zone, and become an instrumental person in the business: train her students to transition to professional modeling and acting smoothly. Determined to transform her students into the best of the best in the industry, Franchesca designed FTAU to be a Christian-based academy to emphasize the importance of solid morals in surviving the business. She makes sure that all of her students are treated professionally and remain protected. One of her objectives is to empower models and actors that are both classy and sexy. "Our passion for helping and doing it the right way separates us from our competition," Franchesca shared. "Apart from the fact that I can guarantee you that no one else offers what we offer, from training one on one with America's Next Top Models, to working on set with major Hollywood film directors, to walking NYFW, LAFW, DUBAI Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and more. We are not your regular modeling and acting school. Oh, and the price to attend is super affordable for its value," she added. Franchesca has been modeling since she was only 12 years old. By the time she reached her early 20s, she was already ready to transition to acting. However, her overall experience was not always smooth sailing, prompting her to come up with a way to help others prepare better for the demands of both professions. Determined to make a difference in her own little way, she started teaching small groups in her local church. What started out to be five to ten students quickly transformed into a class of 100. She soon realized that a lot of young people are hungry for this kind of training. Eventually, it was her minister, Ptr. Gerry Mickle, who told her to start a school. "In order to work in this industry, you do have to invest, but it is important to know how to invest in the right avenues. Not every school will actually help you get to where you want to be. Some will take advantage of you. Others may be very helpful. I'd like to think FTAU is the best platform to start up," Franchesca explained. Franchesca's hands-on manner of handling her school has had a tremendous impact on the performance of her students. Quite often, most of her students get paid more than what they spent to train at FTAU. The remarkable return on their investment is proof that Franchesca is doing a splendid job in training the next generation of high-performing models and actors. FTAU has worked with more than 500 students over the past few years since its establishment. Interestingly, FTAU has a 25% placement rate among many talent agencies, which means that 25% of them get signed as professionals by various agencies right after graduation. It is also noteworthy that many of Franchesca's students attend her classes not because they want to be models or actors, but because they aim to improve their self-esteem, self-confidence, and stage presence. As the rising CEO of FTAU, Franchesca Nival holds so much promise. Apart from pouring out her time into teaching at FTAU, she is also an effective marketing expert, helping business owners gain more followers and establish a stronger digital footprint through various social media platforms.
