U.S. Navy Veteran Jeff Boogaard Strives to Provide Premium-Grade CBD & CBG for Consumers Through Cannabreeze Hemp Farm & Company

The untapped potential of our earth’s wonders in the form of plant life is still a vast area of exploration. Tremendous leaps in the medicinal study of plants have contributed to the fast-growing development of cures for malignant diseases, and among these are cannabis and hemp. As we continue to see further leniency in their regulation, one venture in particular that is making waves in this community is , owned by U.S. Navy Veteran Jeff Boogaard. Cannabreeze Hemp Farm & Company

The company didn’t immediately start with hemp and cannabis farming. “Before growing hemp, [for nearly a decade] we were a livestock farm raising exotic animals. We were best known for having the largest herd of Asian water buffalo in Virginia, [as well as] rabbit, poultry and pig.”

With Virginia’s adoption of the Federal 2018 Farm Bill which legalized industrial hemp, Jeff wasted no time and immediately secured a permit and license to grow. In July 2019, they planted their first crop of CBD Hemp, which birthed Cannabreeze Hemp Farm & Company.

The journey for both Jeff and Cannabreeze was far from smooth as on Christmas Eve of the same year, Jeff’s daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of cancer affecting her body’s germ-fighting lymphatic system. “Our 22-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after a routine doctor’s visit, [results] revealed a large mass in her chest that wrapped around her heart and lungs. We know we had a product that could help ease the side effects that came along with this aggressive treatment,” said Jeff.

Along with his daughter’s radiation and chemotherapy sessions, she also started a daily intake of Cannabreeze’s Premium-Grade CBD oil to alleviate the anxiety and stress caused by the medication. As a result, in less than six months, Jeff’s daughter was cancer-free.

With these results, Jeff decided to share the oil with as many people as possible. In 2020 Cannabreeze Hemp planted 12,000 CBD & CBG hemp plants on over 10 acres of land.  Since then, they’ve created a multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art production facility that handles the harvesting and production of more than 100 different premium-grade CBD & CBG  products.

Cannabreeze Hemp grows premium-grade CBD & CBG hemp using only non-GMO seeds and chemical and pesticide-free organic practices to ensure they produce the highest quality results. All the plants are harvested, dried & cured entirely by hand with no automation.

“All our CBD & CBG plants and flowers are managed by hand with zero automation, from germination through harvest, drying and curing. Our buds are manually de-leafed, then harvested right off the plant. The flower is then bucked off the stem, dried and cured in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled drying center, then trimmed by hand.” said Jeff.

Working with FOOP Biosciences, they use nutrient-dense feeds that utilize the rich qualities of fish manure as their fertilizer which ensures that their plants have the strength to withstand the harsh weather during its growing season.

Now with dispensaries sprinkled throughout the DMV, the company aims to share its premium-grade products with as many people that need it as possible.  It is no doubt that the future is bright for Cannnabreeze Hemp Farm & Company as they continue to receive more and more positive reviews from their customers.
