Her company has served Fortune 500 firms, entrepreneurial startups, and nonprofit organizations alike, always with a focus on strengthening the human side of leadership.

But beyond the boardroom, Dr. Lockhart-Jones carries a message that resonates deeply: mental wealth is an essential aspect of leadership. A cancer survivor and mental health advocate, she speaks openly about her past struggles with anxiety and her deep faith in God. “I know what rock bottom feels like,” she says. “That’s why I share my story — to help others see that healing and power can exist together.”

That authenticity and grit are exactly what make her a fitting leader to bring the Ms. Corporate America competition to Texas. “I’m incredibly honored to serve the vibrant state of Texas by launching this platform for women leaders,” she shares. “This isn’t just a competition. It’s a call to confidence and action — for women to stand up, speak out, and shine.”

And she’s not new to building something from the ground up. The start-up spirit is in her DNA — having founded her consulting firm during her recovery from cancer, she understands resilience like few others do. Her goal? To make the Texas chapter of Ms. Corporate America one of the leading examples across the country. With an anticipated 30 contestants and over 300 attendees, the inaugural event in 2026 will celebrate ambition, brilliance, and achievement among professional women ages 30 to 65.

The timing couldn’t be better. With women in Texas rising in industries from energy and law to entrepreneurship and education, the competition arrives as a significant opportunity for visibility, community, and recognition. “There are already ten states participating, but Texas is different,” says Dr. Lockhart-Jones. “Texas women are bold, brilliant, and ready to make their mark in the national spotlight.”

Her presence is not just ceremonial. As a coach, speaker, and leadership strategist, Dr. Lockhart-Jones has worked with executives to break through limiting beliefs, elevate their executive presence, and lead with both empathy and authority. Her talks on mental health, mindset mastery, and personal power have landed her on major stages — from The Leadership Experience Tour to an upcoming speaker series at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Notable recent highlights include being selected as an interviewer for Super Bowl Media Week 2025, delivering keynotes at the LinkUp Networking Conference in Houston, and facilitating a series of transformative webinars during Mental Health Awareness Month. Her track record is not only impressive — it is marked by consistent engagement and impact.

And yet, her vision continues to grow. “In a few years, I hope this competition will evolve into a movement. I want women from every corner of Texas — doctors, lawyers, educators, entrepreneurs — to feel this stage is truly for them.” Simultaneously, she plans to continue her consulting practice with a select roster of clients while expanding her reach as a sought-after motivational speaker.

For Dr. Lockhart-Jones, it all comes back to service. “Everything I do is rooted in serving others.
