Host: Ekaterina, you are the founder of KIBERONE AMERICA, a program that prepares children for life in the digital world. What makes KIBERONE unique among other educational programs for kids?

Ekaterina Levintas: Thank you for the question! KIBERONE AMERICA is not just an educational program; it’s a whole ecosystem where children aged 6 to 14 learn not only the basics of programming but also develop critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and an entrepreneurial mindset. We understand that technology plays a crucial role in today’s world, and our goal is to prepare a new generation of leaders who can not only use existing technologies but also create innovations.

We aim to integrate a sort of “mini-MBA” for kids, allowing them to master both technical and soft skills. This is essential because, unlike traditional approaches, we teach children to think broadly and understand how technology can solve real-world problems.

Host: How did the idea for KIBERONE AMERICA come about?

Ekaterina Levintas: The idea stemmed from my personal experience as a mother. Watching my daughters navigate the digital landscape, I realized that traditional education systems often lag behind the rapidly changing skills needed today. I began to explore existing programs and discovered KIBERONE, a successful European project in children’s IT education. I recognized that this approach could be adapted for the American market to create a unique program that meets current needs.

Host: Your program emphasizes in-person learning. Why is this so important in today’s digital age?

Ekaterina Levintas: In an era where many aspects of education are shifting online, we believe that face-to-face interaction is critical. By being physically present, we create opportunities for deeper engagement, which fosters social skill development. Students learn to collaborate in teams, share ideas, and manage projects—skills that are just as important as technical expertise. We want children to feel confident communicating with others and understand how to interact in a group. These are lifelong skills that will serve them well.

Host: What skill set do graduates of KIBERONE AMERICA acquire?

Ekaterina Levintas: Our graduates emerge from the program with a unique skill set that includes not only programming abilities but also an understanding of product development and market potential assessment. They learn to take feedback and respond to it, which is crucial in the world of startups and innovation. Our mission is not to prepare them for specific jobs but to make them flexible and adaptable to any changes in the future. We teach them to think creatively and strategically, shaping them into future entrepreneurs and innovators.

Host: What are your plans for expanding the program in the future?

Ekaterina Levintas: We’ve already made significant strides, having opened two locations in Florida, and we are now looking to expand into cities like Philadelphia and Texas. These locations were chosen strategically; we aim to cover key educational and tech hubs while also focusing on areas that may be underserved in terms of quality IT education. Our goal is to open over 1,000 locations nationwide within the next three years, allowing over 100,000 children to access cutting-edge knowledge and skills in technology.

Host: How does KIBERONE AMERICA help children develop a healthy relationship with technology?

Ekaterina Levintas: We believe it’s essential not only to teach children how to use technology but also to engage them in the creation process. Our program fosters an active approach to digital tools—children become creators rather than just consumers. We work to ensure that they understand how technology can be used to address real-world challenges and create value. This instills a sense of responsibility in them for their contributions to the world of technology and innovation.

Host: What is your vision for the future of KIBERONE AMERICA?

Ekaterina Levintas: We have grand plans for the future. We want to not only scale our program in the U.S. but also actively participate in the global movement to improve digital education. We are beginning to establish partnerships with international organizations, opening up new knowledge exchange opportunities. We believe that our education must stay in sync with global trends to remain relevant and beneficial for our students.

Our primary goal is to prepare children for life in a constantly changing world. We want every KIBERONE AMERICA graduate to contribute to a future where technology is the key tool for solving global challenges.
