In a world full of ideas, progress often stalls for one simple reason: the right people never find each other in time. Breakthrough research remains confined to academic journals. Promising startups lose momentum before reaching the partners who could help them scale. Hr. Dr. Takahisa Karita has built his career around addressing this gap, creating cross-border pathways where entrepreneurs, researchers, and capital providers can connect with purpose and move efficiently toward measurable SDG outcomes.

A Builder With Mandate

Karita holds the title of Honorary Doctor and operates publicly as a global serial entrepreneur, cofounder of UNIPLAT, and an SDG Alliance board member of EUTECH. His positioning is intentional and operational, grounded in execution rather than visibility.

At the center of his work is a commitment to inclusion. He supports founders at early ideation stages as well as leaders preparing for international expansion, regardless of region, gender, age, religion, or background. His focus is not on exclusivity, but on creating systems that make meaningful access easier and more consistent.

Industries, Not Single Lanes

Karita’s advantage lies in range paired with deployment. He has launched and advanced projects across education, IT, online platforms, blockchain, biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, construction, finance, and diplomacy, developing a working understanding of how innovation advances within different regulatory and cultural environments.

This breadth enables pattern recognition across sectors and allows him to connect stakeholders who would otherwise operate independently. Beyond building individual companies, his work centers on building the connective infrastructure that turns isolated effort into coordinated progress.

Who He Builds For

His primary audience is broad but defined: entrepreneurs and aspiring founders, researchers, and the individuals and institutions that accelerate them—including investors, corporate executives, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. His work consistently bridges solution creators with those positioned to scale solutions responsibly.

The gap he addresses is structural. Many founders and researchers do not fail because their work lacks merit. They struggle due to limited access to credible networks, experienced advisors, and cross-border partnerships. Karita’s initiatives are designed to reduce these friction points early, preserving both talent and timing.

The UNIPLAT Foundation

In 2019, Karita cofounded Unify Platform AG in Zug, Switzerland—a region recognized globally for its Crypto Valley ecosystem. The company develops and operates UNIPLAT, an online platform designed to support entrepreneurs and researchers working toward SDG-aligned solutions worldwide.

UNIPLAT’s scale demonstrates its impact. By May 2025, the platform had grown to more than 160,000 members across 146 countries, supported by over 100 partner organizations and more than 80 advisory board members. The platform is structured to make collaboration easier to identify, easier to validate, and more efficient to advance.

Taking The Mission North

In March 2025, Karita expanded UNIPLAT’s footprint by establishing UNIPLAT SKANDINAVISKA AB in Stockholm as a subsidiary of Unify Platform. The expansion prioritized depth over geography, focusing on supporting highly specialized researchers and entrepreneurs who require targeted networks to scale complex innovations.

This Scandinavian expansion also extended beyond platform development. The Swedish entity began engaging in R&D and licensing for new medicines, marking a shift toward supporting commercialization pathways that connect research directly to economic and societal impact.

China Scale, Global Tech

Karita’s ecosystem-building work is matched by large-scale operational leadership. Since 2012, he has been involved in the management of CDTEC CHINA, an education platform company headquartered in Tianjin, serving as CFO and Chief International Development Officer. The company’s predecessor was a publicly listed IT systems firm on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, establishing a foundation of enterprise-scale governance and execution.

Today, CDTEC’s educational service platform is deployed in more than 5,600 kindergartens across China. In 2024, the company expanded further through Symbol AI Global SDN. BHD., a Malaysian subsidiary developing behavioral recognition AI technology, and Zhongjing Zhikang, a Beijing-based subsidiary operating neuropsychiatric clinics using advanced medical 3D mapping technology. Across initiatives, the emphasis remains on real-world deployment rather than theoretical innovation.

Twenty-Seven Companies in Motion

Karita currently supports 27 companies as a founder, director, shareholder, and senior advisor. His business footprint spans Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, the UK, the United States, Brazil, China, Malaysia, India, and Germany, reflecting a model centered on partnerships, execution, and international market access.

The story is not scale for its own sake. It is architectural. Across regions and roles, Karita positions himself where strategy, capital, and implementation intersect—allowing ventures to share networks, resources, and visibility while reducing the isolation that often slows early-stage growth.

Proof Through Public Recognition

Karita’s professional recognition reinforces his positioning as an operator with sustained impact. He was named Most Visionary Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 by CToday Awards and recognized as a Beacon of Brilliance among leaders to watch by CXO Time.

Additional honors include Top Serial Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals, Top 10 Business Leaders to Watch in 2023 by International Business Times, and Voice of Brilliance distinctions in 2022 and 2023 by Brilliance Magazine. He also holds an Honorary Doctor of Advanced Studies in Entrepreneurship from AZTECA University in Mexico, reflecting contribution rather than credentialing alone.

Diplomacy As Daily Practice

Karita approaches social responsibility through a multi-sector lens. His involvement spans private enterprise, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and media-related institutions, allowing him to evaluate challenges from multiple perspectives rather than a single industry framework.

From this vantage point, his priority is cross-border collaboration that is practical, respectful, and sustainable. He draws equally from success and failure, using both as reference points to guide emerging entrepreneurs with realism and context.

New Bets With Purpose

In 2026, Karita began participating in two venture initiatives focused on social contribution. At Shirushi Co., Ltd., where he serves as CMO and Ambassador, developed a palm-sized device designed to operate with minimal electricity. The objective is to enable participation in decentralized economies without prohibitive infrastructure or energy demands.

He also assumed the role of CFO & CMO at STARK GLOBAL JAPAN Co. Ltd in June 2026, supporting next-generation agricultural technologies through plant factory cultivation and extraction systems aimed at improving yield and crop quality. The core innovation, developed by Stark Global Japan Co. Ltd, is structured for global licensing and scalable implementation.

Building Peace Through Enterprise

Karita’s long-term vision centers on enabling entrepreneurs and researchers to build without constraints imposed by geography or background. Through platforms, multinational operations, and ventures focused on tangible outcomes, he is constructing the infrastructure that makes collaboration practical and repeatable.

For Hr. Dr. Takahisa Karita, progress begins when connection becomes systematic—and that is where sustainable impact takes shape.
