Before Breakthrough Global became a beacon for change-makers around the globe, Eric’s own life was anything but easy. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Eric’s transition to civilian life was a battle for which he found himself ill-prepared. What had once given him structure, purpose, and a deep sense of mission was suddenly gone. Like many veterans, he found himself thrust into a 9-to-5 world that felt flat, uninspired, and disconnected from the values he had lived and served by.

It was during this time that Eric began to look inward. He became fascinated by the heart-brain connection, energy frequency, and the patterns that govern human behavior. The deeper he dove, the more he realized that everything he had been taught about “success” was missing a key component—alignment. The actions he was taking weren’t in harmony with his truth. And so began the inner recalibration that would not only change his life but eventually touch thousands more.

That journey culminated in his certification as an intuitive life coach and the powerful story he shared in the international best-selling book Ignite Your Purpose. His chapter struck a chord, not because it was polished, but because it was honest. For 11 days, he was their ground support, navigating from Lareto, Mexico to Tecate, California. It wasn’t glamorous, and it certainly wasn’t planned. For Eric, it was purpose in action: service, presence, and a deep knowing that leadership doesn’t always mean being in front. Sometimes it means being the steady hand behind the scenes, ensuring the mission keeps moving forward.
