Austin Piatt’s Remarkable Journey From Unpaid Intern to Founder and CEO

People would often say that great things start from small beginnings. While this inspiring adage is an excellent source of motivation, in reality achieving remarkable accomplishments can be an arduous experience and, not to mention, elusive. However, Austin Piatt, an inspiring entrepreneur, has deciphered the code that has allowed him to transition his career path from an unpaid intern to the founder of a thriving CPG brand.

This inspiring individual’s journey to success started when he was only 12 years old. Yet even at this young age, he already knew what he wanted to one day become: a business owner. This early realization proved to be a crucial advantage for building his pathway to success.

To fulfill his long-term goal, Austin Piatt finished with a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2018. Still, his big break didn’t happen right away. After graduation, his job experience consisted of multiple paid and unpaid internships for the first 2 years.

It was not until 2019 that he first came across the CBD manufacturing space, where he began consulting clients on hemp genetics and brands on raw material formulations. In addition to these services, he was also building partnerships and product developments with multiple large-scale brands.

His exposure to the industry was a light bulb moment that enlightened him on the limitless potential of natural alternative medicine. Because of this, he started researching and analyzing what the next big incoming trend was going to be in the natural alternative space.

It did not take long before he discovered the immense potential of medicinal mushrooms and adaptogenic herbs in enhancing brain performance. Austin is someone who’s driven on finding ways to become more productive and focused throughout the day, so pursuing an initiative in the nootropics industry perfectly aligned with his passion.

Fueled by his newfound passion, Austin Piatt immediately went to work. He employed the help of expert mycologists and chemists to create a unique formulation of adaptogenic herbs, medicinal mushrooms, and natural cognitive-enhancing ingredients.

Because of his determination, innate business acumen, and unrivaled work ethic, the former intern has skillfully changed his title to founder and CEO of a groundbreaking enterprise. Not only that, but he has scaled the reputation of his passion project Mindhoney to greater heights.

When asked about what helped him achieve extraordinary success, he reflected on his journey by saying “I would define myself as a very motivated person on a mission to establish a name for myself in the entrepreneurial world along with a passion for helping others and making a positive impact on the environment. I’ve always strived to expand my network and connect with people as much as possible, which has aligned strongly with where I’ve worked to guide Mindhoney’s target audience and brand message.”

Austin Piatt is proof that even though success is not relatively easy to come by, having a clear vision of one’s dreams and a relentless drive to achieve said goals are enough to make a difference. Follow Austin Piatt’s Instagram account to learn more about the inspiring entrepreneur.
