In Arvada, Colorado, two real estate agents have built something that works largely because they approach the business differently from each other. Amanda Rieter and Nikki Castillo run AN Homes Colorado under Keller Williams Avenues Realty, and their partnership thrives on the fact that they bring distinct skill sets to the table. They joke that together they make one “super realtor,” but the results suggest that their complementary skills contribute to their success.

Two Backgrounds, One Team

Amanda’s background is in public policy, legislative affairs, and public relations. She has a strong understanding of Colorado real estate contracts, which helps her strategically negotiate and guide clients through every stage of a transaction. She has served on her local Special Metro District Board and school PTO, grounding her in the community she serves.

Nikki grew up in Arvada. After high school, she lived all over the country, but moved back to raise her family. Her background is in staging, interior design, event planning, and marketing, which gives her a creative and detail-oriented approach to the work. She currently serves on the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities Board of Directors.

A Personal Experience That Shaped Their Approach

Nikki’s own experience buying and selling homes influenced how they run their business. Her family moved around the county close to a dozen times, and she recalls never having any significant help from the agents they worked with. That memory stuck with her.

“We wanted our level of service, care, and attention to be as exceptional as possible for all our clients,” they explained. That means they occasionally bring boxes and packing supplies. They help with out-of-town agents. Sometimes they take on a home entirely so the seller can move on and transition to their next chapter.

Empowering Clients Through Information

Beyond the hands-on help, they focus heavily on market analysis. They watch the market closely and work with their clients to find strategies that fit the conditions of the moment. For most people, buying or selling a home is the biggest financial transaction of their lives.

“We want our clients to feel well-informed during the process on both the Buy and Sale side,” they said.

They stage every home they put on the market at no additional cost to make sure it appeals to the widest range of buyers online, which can lead to more showings, more offers, shorter days on market, and potentially higher sale prices than the market average.

More Than a Transaction

Amanda and Nikki acknowledge that buying and selling real estate is not always a happy occasion. Many transactions come from profound moments in people’s lives: Divorce, death, job loss, and major life changes. They consider it a privilege to be part of those transitions and to help people achieve their goals.

That care has led to something unexpected. Many of their clients have become long-term friends outside of real estate.

The Numbers Behind the Work

Based on BrokerMetrics data tied to MLS-reported deals, Amanda and Nikki consistently rank among Colorado’s top agents. In 2025, they were the #1 team in the Colorado region for Keller Williams, closing 42 homes with a total sales volume of $40,559,773. They were also recognized as Top Team at Keller Williams Avenues Realty in both 2024 and 2025, outperforming larger teams while operating as just two licensed agents.

Their sustained excellence has earned them an invitation to the Keller Williams Realty International 2026 Agent Mastermind with CEO Gary Keller, joining an elite group of top-performing agents nationwide. They are proud to have been ranked among the Top 100 agents in Colorado two years in a row, 2024 and 2025.

A Simple Foundation

Amanda and Nikki have built their business on a simple idea: Give people better information, better care, and better service than they might expect. In a market where those things aren’t always guaranteed, that approach has set them apart.
