Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 1 August 2026 – Dubai-based entrepreneur Ismail Kouami is continuing to develop Kouami Group as a cross-border investment holding with operating interests spanning financial technology, mobility, software and digital marketing.

The group brings together businesses operating across different parts of the technology and mobility ecosystem, reflecting a strategy focused on building and investing in companies with practical applications and recurring commercial demand.

Kouami’s activities have increasingly centered on the intersection of mobility and technology. His portfolio includes businesses connected to vehicle rental operations as well as technology designed to address challenges within the wider rental industry.

One of those ventures is Leniqo, a financial technology platform focused on deposit-free rental solutions. The company is developing an alternative to the traditional security deposit model used by rental businesses, with the aim of reducing friction for customers while providing participating rental companies with structured protection against eligible losses.

The portfolio also includes software development focused on rental operations. This reflects a broader effort to use technology to address operational challenges such as fleet management, bookings, customer administration, vehicle handovers and other processes that remain fragmented across many rental businesses.

Rather than concentrating the group around a single company, Kouami Group is being structured as a holding platform through which businesses can operate independently while sharing a broader investment and technology strategy.

For Ismail Kouami, the approach is based on identifying industries where established processes can be improved through technology, automation and more efficient financial products.

“Building companies in different sectors only makes sense when there is a clear operational advantage behind them,” Kouami said. “Our focus is on businesses where technology can remove friction, improve efficiency and create products that solve measurable problems for customers.”

Dubai has become an important base for that strategy. The emirate provides access to a large mobility and tourism market while also positioning companies within a growing regional technology and financial services ecosystem.

The UAE has continued to attract entrepreneurs, technology companies and international investors as the country expands its digital economy and encourages the development of new financial and technology businesses. For companies operating across multiple markets, Dubai also provides geographic access to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Kouami Group’s cross-border structure reflects this international outlook. Its operating businesses are intended to serve individual markets while the holding company provides a common framework for investment, expansion and the development of new ventures.

The strategy is also increasingly centered on technology that can be deployed beyond the group’s own operations. Products initially developed around practical challenges in mobility and rental businesses can potentially be offered to independent operators facing similar problems.

This approach allows the group to combine direct operating experience with software and financial technology development, using problems encountered inside operating businesses as a starting point for new products.

Over the coming period, Kouami Group plans to continue developing its existing portfolio while evaluating opportunities in technology-enabled businesses that complement its current activities.
