Client Focused, Results Driven, Community CenteredĀ

Alexandria Heacock is a real estate agent in Cardington, Ohio. For the past seven years, she has worked with families and individuals through their buying and selling journeys, earning a reputation for genuine care and consistent results. She serves as the Branch Office Owner for the Cardington location of Home Equity Realty Group and holds the title of VP of Agent Affairs within the company. She is also a Certified Real Estate Negotiator and a New Home Certified Professional, credentials that reflect her dedication to her craft.

Alexandria grew up in and around a small town in Ohio. She lives on a family farm with her husband and their three children. When she is not working, she spends her time there, raising her kids in the same kind of close community where she built her own roots. That connection to place shapes the way she approaches her work. She understands what it means to find a home where a family can truly belong.

A Family Run Brokerage

The brokerage Alexandria works with is family-owned and operated. Her mother works there. So do her three brothers and her sister. They hold positions across the company, from agents to marketing and finance. It is a boutique operation, but Alexandria says they have access to the same marketing tools and technology as the larger firms.

“We’ve ensured that we have all the same access to cutting-edge marketing strategies and powerful technology as the larger companies, which means our clients get top-tier service and exposure,” she explained. “What makes us truly unique, though, is the unmistakable feel of a small, family-owned business.” That warmth and personal commitment, she says, starts at the top and carries through every transaction.

Guiding Clients Through Life Transitions

Much of Alexandria’s work focuses on helping people navigate specific life transitions. She works frequently with first-time home buyers, guiding them from pre-approval through closing. The goal, she says, is to make sure their first experience is straightforward and not overwhelming. She wants it to be exciting rather than stressful.

She also works with VA buyers, helping veterans and active-duty service members make the most of their benefits. She draws on her understanding of the VA loan process to help them move through it with confidence. And she assists families who are downsizing, helping them sell a larger home and find something that fits their next chapter.

“For me, real estate is about more than just transactions,” she said. “It’s about guiding people through major life milestones.” For those who are downsizing, she tries to handle both the sale and the search in a way that respects the emotional weight of leaving a longtime home.

Expertise and Local Knowledge

What sets Alexandria apart, she says, comes down to a few things. One is her certifications. Her negotiation training helps her secure stronger deals for her clients. Her new home certification gives her a sharper understanding of new construction properties, offering a level of expertise that few agents possess.

Another factor is her leadership role at the brokerage. Clients working with her also benefit from the resources and knowledge that come with working at the company’s leadership level. But the biggest factor may be how rooted she is in the community. She is not just selling houses. She lives in the same place as her clients. She knows what families are looking for because she is raising one herself.

Mentoring the Next Generation

Alexandria’s biggest professional achievement, she says, is being named VP of Agent Affairs. The role allows her to teach and mentor new agents as they build their careers. She provides them with knowledge, tools, and personalized support to help them grow. Watching someone start from the beginning and develop into a confident, capable agent gives her a sense of purpose that goes beyond any single sale.

“There is no greater professional reward than watching them grow their skills, learn the market, and ultimately achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves and their families,” she said. “Their accomplishments are, in a very real sense, my biggest sense of accomplishment.” It is this commitment to others, both clients and colleagues, that defines her approach to the work. For Alexandria, real estate has always been about people first.
