Monica Perez began her real estate career in 2007, just as the housing market was unraveling. It was far from an easy time to enter the industry, but she refused to let the Great Recession define her future. Instead, she worked relentlessly, learned quickly, and within five years became one of the top producers at Your Castle Real Estate in Denver.
Since then, Monica has remained a leading agent at the company. In 2016, she sold more homes than any other broker at the firm, an achievement so remarkable it inspired the creation of a new recognition category: The Legend Award. Over the course of her career, she has helped more than 700 individuals and families reach their real estate goals.
Relationships Over Regions
When people ask Monica what area she specializes in, her answer is simple.

Monica did not grow up speaking Spanish; the language was lost in her parentsā generation. Motivated by a desire to connect more deeply with her grandmother, now 103 years old, she earned a degree in Spanish language and literature. Today, as a bilingual real estate agent in Denver, Monica serves buyers and sellers who feel most comfortable conducting business in Spanish. Twenty to thirty percent of her clients are Spanish-speaking, often in households where one partner prefers Spanish communication.
Staying Connected
Relationships do not end at closing for Monica. She makes it a priority to stay in touch long after the paperwork is signed, hosting large client appreciation parties twice a year to reconnect with people who have become friends along the way. It is one of her favorite parts of the business.

Monicaās values were shaped by her familyās story. Her grandparents worked tirelessly to create opportunities and access to education for their children. Her parents carried that legacy forward for Monica and her siblings.
