The couple unveiled their latest masterpiece this year—a cedar log cabin epitomizing serenity and natural luxury. Nestled beside a cascading waterfall and offering breathtaking glacier mountain views, the property boasts a private cedar hot tub fed directly by natural hot springs. The panoramic lake views from the tub provide an unmatched soaking experience, blending rustic charm with indulgent tranquility. The cabin joins an impressive portfolio of private retreats, including the renowned Mountain Bear Hot Springs with its infinity-edge and the intimate Hot Springs Escape Cottage, creating a trifecta of exclusive experiences. From Boilers to Bubbling Springs

The roots of Private Hot Springs trace back to Toronto, where the couple established themselves in the hydronic industry, snowmelt, in-floor heating, and boiler systems. Alex, a former Air Force member and private pilot, became a sought-after expert in heating systems, appearing on CBC and News Talk 1010 to share his knowledge. Tina’s entrepreneurial acumen and keen business sense drove the couple's ventures forward, laying the groundwork for their foray into luxury tourism. The idea for their retreat business began when they moved westward, initially planning to settle in Kelowna. However, the discovery of natural hot springs in the Kootenays changed everything. The untouched beauty and therapeutic mineral waters inspired them to invest in the region, recognizing its potential as a wellness destination. "We were planning to settle in Kelowna," Alex recalls, describing their initial move westward. But fate had other plans. They discovered a hidden gem in the Kootenays—natural hot springs with therapeutic mineral waters flowing directly from the mountains. Despite being far from its original destination, the property's potential was impossible to ignore.

Creating a Natural Luxury Experience

Private Hot Springs' fusion of natural wonders with luxury amenities makes it unique. The property now features three exclusive chalets, two of which boast the world's only hot spring infinity edge. They are fed by mountain springs containing over 30 minerals, offering a unique therapeutic experience.
