In an industry-first move set to elevate private aviation, Stratos Jets has unveiled its private jet charter franchise model. As the CEO of Stratos Jets, I am thrilled to share how this new endeavor is transforming the industry and opening doors for aviation professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

When I founded Stratos Jets in 2007, I aimed to address the significant gaps I saw in the private aviation industry. There was a pressing need for more ethical practices, honest advice, transparent pricing, and a stronger focus on client satisfaction and safety. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to build an organization that prioritizes these values by leveraging advanced technology and implementing rigorous safety protocols.

We aim to bring value to four fundamental pillars: our team and franchised agencies, air carriers, customers, and the industry as a whole. The decision to franchise positively impacts these pillars, aligning with our mission and driving collective success.

The Vision Behind Franchising

In the fall of 2023, we made the strategic decision to transition to a franchising model, driven by our vision to transform the private aviation industry by aggregating demand under one brand to standardize safety standards, processes, and best practices. Franchising expedites this by lowering operating costs, sharing financial risk, and increasing overall efficiency.

The franchise model is particularly beneficial for smaller brokerages, who often need more resources to compete with larger businesses. By giving these brokers access to our robust infrastructure and comprehensive support, we enable them to thrive in a highly competitive market. This opportunity is also ideal for proven business owners, aviation professionals, and experienced entrepreneurs who share our dedication to excellent customer service.

Empowering Franchisees Through Advanced Technology

The Stratos FMS (Flight Management System) platform is at the core of our operational excellence. This cutting-edge technology revolutionizes flight management by streamlining operations, automating routine tasks, and eliminating transcription errors between the customer and service provider. Franchised agents benefit from real-time data analytics, enabling them to make quick, informed decisions. This efficiency allows them to focus on what truly matters—building strong client relationships and enhancing service quality.

Our comprehensive backend support further boosts agency efficiency and profitability. By handling administrative tasks and providing continuous technical support, we ensure that our agencies can operate seamlessly and concentrate on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This technological integration significantly reduces transcription errors related to flight planning and improves the efficiency of booking and scheduling processes, enabling agents to produce a greater volume of business and strengthen relationships with their clients.

Strengthening Partnerships with Air Carriers

Aggregating operations under one cohesive business umbrella improves our operational synergies and builds stronger partnerships. Our resources reduce the workload for air carriers and enable them to handle more business efficiently. In addition, a combined purchasing power and negotiating strength result in stronger industry relationships, better aircraft options, and more competitive pricing, benefitting both carriers and clients. This streamlined approach fosters mutually beneficial relationships and reinforces our commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Prioritizing Safety and Service for Customers

Because of our standardized procedures, advanced technology, and a strong focus on crew competency, customers enjoy a consistent and high-quality experience each time they fly. Every flight is meticulously planned and executed to guarantee a seamless journey from start to finish, even for the most complex itineraries. We also uphold strict safety regulations through our Approved Vendor Program and ARGUS Certified Broker status to ensure passenger safety and foster long-term trust. This allows us to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations, and we continuously improve our services based on client feedback.

Setting New Industry Standards

Our Approved Vendor Program promotes a safer industry by setting high standards. It focuses on three key areas for each company: verifiable safety outcomes, stability and culture of safety, and a proactive approach to safety for the aircraft and crew. For example, air carriers must participate in the third-party safety auditing program by either ARGUS or Wyvern and have seven years of operational history with no accidents or major enforcement actions.

We track metrics in these key areas daily through our review system, which is connected to third party data providers such as ARGUS, to ensure that each carrier we recommend to clients is meeting our standards. We use the data collected from this system to identify the operational performance trends of each carrier.

The franchising model also drives industry-wide improvements in service quality and operational efficiency by promoting a collaborative environment where best practices are shared across the network. Stratos Jets is uplifting the entire industry by promoting strict standards and innovation, establishing a new benchmark for excellence.

Looking to the Future

As we continue to expand our network and solidify Stratos requirements as the new standard, Stratos Jets remains dedicated to its vision of transforming private aviation through innovation, safety, and exceptional service. The franchising model is a testament to this commitment, offering significant growth potential and positively impacting all stakeholders.
