We’ve all heard about fitness coaches that stop short of being health coaches. The ones that advocate for extreme, sometimes detrimental, measures to achieve results. Former pro bodybuilder and founder of The Bikini Prep Coach Company Tatiana Debique is not one of those coaches.

“I don’t take extreme approaches, but I focus on changes that my clients can sustain long-term in a natural way,” she said. “The most important things are putting my clients’ health first and emphasizing the importance of taking time to achieve their goals. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.”

Tatiana’s Journey

The coach’s journey started when she immigrated to the United States from Russia with her mother and twin sister at the age of 15. Little did she know that hitting the gym at such a young age would be a turning point in her life.

After her first workout, Debique fell in love with fitness and decided to pursue it as a career. She took her field seriously and studied nutrition in college, before becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach.

Not only is fitness Debique’s profession it’s also her passion, and this shines through in her work. She’s an accomplished competitive bodybuilder and an IFBB professional.

Unlike many coaches that prepare clients for competitions, she has a long personal history of amateur and professional stage experience in bodybuilding. She understands every facet of competition and preparation from an insider’s perspective.

Health-First Approach

The Bikini Prep Coach Co. focuses on women’s holistic health, helping clients build better relationships with food, hormones, and themselves. The company approaches fitness in a health-first way, empowering women to achieve their fitness goals in a sustainable and healthy way rather than through extreme deprivation and training.

When clients start training with The Bikini Prep Coach Co., they develop relationships with a community of women empowering each other to achieve fitness goals.

Debique is one. Known for her candid manner and never sugarcoating the facts, her style is more about “love” than “tough.” She has a deep understanding of women, their often negative self-images, and their difficult experiences with gyms and fitness. Her goal is to help women overcome these bad feelings and replace them with a sense of pride and self-love. She encourages her clients to celebrate their bodies through every stage of the journey and appreciate all they can do.

Realistic Training

Debique works with two kinds of clients at opposite ends of the spectrum. She has many women who are trying to lose weight, get back in shape, and finally, get the body of their dreams. Her other clients are bikini bodybuilding competitors at the amateur and professional levels.

In the first group, there are a large number of mothers who gained weight during pregnancy or are suffering from a body that changed significantly after having kids. What many of them don’t know when meeting Debique for the first time is that she’s a mom too.

“Once they hear that, I can see them let their guard down and realize that maybe I do get it and maybe I can help them.” To women who have kids and think they can never get their bodies back, I always say, ‘Hold my beer — or wine!’ Mothers relate to me a lot,” laughed Debique.

Whether Debique is training body transformation-seeking clients or competitive bodybuilders, her ethos always remains the same. It places importance on sustainable commitment and regular progress over crash programs that clients can’t live with long-term.

“I emphasize the importance of setting realistic goals and sustainably working towards them,” said the coach. “From experience, I know that small, consistent steps can lead to big changes over time. I encourage my clients to focus on progress, not perfection, and to celebrate every milestone along the way.”

Debique built The Bikini Prep Coach Co. around the idea that fitness can help women build confidence and self-esteem, and she’s passionate about helping each one to feel their best.
