When you have experienced a scam that happened to you and cost you, you can recognize it from a mile away. So when Kyle A. Duncan got the first seat to it, he swore never to let other businesses suffer the same fate as he did.
“I started in digital marketing in 2020 and then niched down into SEO since I enjoyed doing SEO and figuring out what search engines wanted. I had also tried starting several businesses, but most failed because I couldn’t get leads, which made me learn digital marketing,” Kyle A. Duncan recalled.
“I had other agencies screw me over, and I had talked to several other business owners who had the same experience, so I decided to learn SEO and start my agency,” he added. That was the start of Kyle A. Duncan SEO Agency.
Overpromise Problem
Anyone can do digital marketing. However, to be able to perform and convert and bring results and profits, most agencies fall into the trap of overpromising.
“The truth is, I was tired of hearing all the stories about agencies making people sign long contracts and not getting them any results. So, I started my agency to get people’s actual results, particularly in SEO. What makes my approach different is that I don’t use contracts since I think businesses should have to earn people’s business every single time,” Kyle A. Duncan explained.
This move earns him clients who don’t hesitate to dive head-first into SEO. Kyle opted for personalized treatments for clients, each according to their business. “Because I believe each business cannot have a uniform SEO strategy. Knowing their business and aspirations, their target market, how they operate daily, and establishing a professional relationship with my client helps me craft the right SEO strategy based on their needs,” Kyle A. Duncan said.
SEO is a Fair Game
Kyle is particularly drawn to SEO after learning about digital marketing because of how universal and sensible the practice is. “With SEO, it’s a set of rules to follow, so the algorithm will favor you. The straightforwardness of it helps simplify the basic technical homework in starting the optimization,” Kyle A. Duncan said.
This is what makes SEO anybody’s game. As long as the business commits to SEO, it should publish quality content; research targeted keywords constantly being improved, and backlink, branching out to network with relevant websites.
SEO has become what paid advertising is not. The amount of effort put into SEO also yields evergreen results. With SEO factoring into a content marketing approach, a business can recycle the content published multiple times, making content an asset in the long run. Links in the content can be updated constantly by watching the trend, and articles can be updated to follow suit. This way, search engines can find even old content.
SEO is Continuously Relevant
Even with the consistency that SEO offers businesses, the development of technology has also brought SEO up to speed. “This is also a part of what makes SEO scam-proof for digital marketing, that it’s versatile and adaptable with the current trend as long as businesses stay updated for it,” Kyle A. Duncan said.
The recent SEO update concerns the Artificial Intelligence-powered search experience, or Search Generative Experience (SGE). With AI dominating current technology and being a 100-billion US-dollar business, SEO tapping into it is a no-brainer. The SGE provides an AI-generated result for many search queries, likely changing how users interact with the search engine and how sites are optimized to generate impressions and traffic. However, it’s not ChatGPT.
When a search is performed, SGE shows an AI-powered, conversational result. It will also include relevant links to underlying sources and additional prompts to explore the topic further. It’s almost human-like.
All these ongoing developments only strengthened the principle of SEO. While traditional SEO continues to deliver the results businesses strive for, the future is SEO-relevant, technologically improved digital marketing practices.
