Unique Snake Mob NFTs Is Slithering Its Way to the Metaverse
Share on Facebook

NFTs or non-fungible tokens have since become the digital world’s phenomenon, becoming mainstream back in the latter half of 2021 and is continuously building quite a following through its mystifying reputation. Despite facing heavy criticisms due to its nature, this piece of blockchain technology is defying the odds and continues to flourish in the ever-so-competitive digital market.

For NFT and crypto enthusiasts, 2022 seems to be quite a fruitful year with all the numerous projects lined up worldwide, including the upcoming Snake Mob NFT—a unique collection of 5,555 randomly generated Snake Mobster NFTs that inhabit the Ethereum blockchain. Cunning, ruthless, and known for their frequent racketeering, money laundering, and midnight poker games, these Snake Mobster NFTs are off to dominate the metaverse, one hiss at a time.

Since its establishment, NFTs have been best known for being unique digital assets that cannot be copied or substituted and are registered in a specific blockchain used to certify its authenticity and ownership. Like the majority of non-fungible tokens present in the digital market today, each Snake Mob NFT is imbued with a distinct trait that is randomly generated from a pool of over 140 attributes. The developers behind this project have incorporated clothing traits for their tokens inspired by renowned brands like Cartier, Moncler, Rick Owens, Acne, and YZY. Furthermore, a Snake Mobster NFT will possess a sundry of items that include clothing, guns, bankrolls, masks, gold and diamond grillz, cigarettes, joints, and so much more. Much like how most NFTs are presented, traits are rarer than others, directly affecting their value.

Currently, The Snake Mob is one of the first of its kind, having a character of a snake holding different objects and wearing clothing from celebrated brands around the world. The Snake Mob’s whitelist was dropped on January 5, 2022, with details posted on the group’s official Discord channel. The project’s pre-sale is set to launch on February 12th, 2022, at 12 PM EST, where they will release 1,555 NFTs priced at 0.03 ETH each for early adopters. The project’s public launch will soon follow at around 3 PM EST, the next day where they will issue the remaining 4,000 NFTs at 0.07 ETH each. By minting a Snake Mobster NFT, holders own the commercial rights to the token they have just minted.

This highly-anticipated project is the creation of Big Brain Labs, a community-driven company founded on the fundamentals of progression and is run by two twenty-one-year-old artists. According to the founders, the brand was cultivated as a community for the community. Moreover, it would appear that the developers have much in store for people who are more than willing to take home a Snake Mobster NFT or two.

“We intend to build a truly mob-worthy community,” they share. “Another goal of ours is to overflow each Mobster’s wallet with 5 to 20 ETH by the end of 2023. After launch, we will be hosting numerous parties in NYC, and each Snake Mobster NFT will be a holder’s ticket.”

To top off the generous benefits that a holder is eligible to, the founders are more than willing to give back to the community with a portion of all the proceeds being donated to the Sentencing Project, an advocacy center that’s working on addressing racial disparities within the USA’s criminal justice system.
