The rapid rise of NFTs has brought about a massive increase in interest as well as opportunities within the space. NFTs come in various shapes and sizes. The most common usage of this burgeoning technology is through digital art projects where investors can stake their claim and reap countless rewards. The up-and-coming Geisha Tea House NFT project is among the highly anticipated projects of this year, paying homage to a long-standing Japanese tradition.
Founded by Regal Star, Akil Wade, and Lukas Novotny, The Geisha Tea House NFT is a project within the blockchain that digitally recreates the popular female professional entertainers in Japan. Contrary to popular belief, while geishas would often be misconstrued as sexual objects by outsider cultures, they are neither courtesans nor prostitutes. In fact, geishas perform in establishments where well-off gentlemen would meet to do business, such as banquets and tea houses.
Geishas have been traditionally known for their entertaining performances, but they are also adept at gathering information since they are always surrounded by powerful individuals. They work in events where they can obtain important pieces of information by overhearing conversations during their many performances. With the value in their performance and information, geishas are patronized by the wealthiest businessmen and most influential politicians in Japan.
The Geisha Tea House NFT digitally recreates more than 400 years of the geisha tradition to the NFT community. Through its unique digital art pieces, the project brings high-quality art and a unique storyline to the digital forefront spreading awareness about the tradition as well as the culture behind it.
The highly anticipated NFT project brings investors and holders to Kyoto, Japan, in the year 2049, where an all-destroying cyber-attack has ravaged the world, claiming digital life and people’s income and their security. Accompanying the cyber takedown was a worldwide cyborg extremist’s attack that wiped out humanity off the face of the planet. Although the attack wiped out millions, a handful of people survived, including the cyborg geisha Mineka, who is accompanied by a handful of young Maiko from the well-hidden and fortified Akirelu Okiya.
The geisha’s fertility has allowed them to thrive from 5 to 10,000 in one year, and they have been resting at the Sukiya Tea Room in the Metaverse Hanamachi district known as The Geisha Tea House. While the club is private, visitors can mingle with like-minded individuals, conduct business, and change the world during lavish banquets.
The budding NFT project is packed with dense lore and high-quality art pieces that are uniquely distinct from one another. Potential holders of Geisha Tea House NFTs can register and purchase up to seven Geishas for 0.0777 ETH during the private sale, while everyone else can get them at 0.0888 ETH during the public sale. Holders will be given an access card to the developer’s launchpad, securing their whitelist spot for the latest NFT projects in the digital space.
Geisha Tea House is poised to bring several investors into the fray with its unique offerings in the NFT space.
