Otaku Origins Is Ready to Dominate the Metaverse With Their Anime-Inspired NFT Project
Share on Facebook

The NFT market has exponentially grown ever since its blowup in the latter half of 2021, further cementing its reputation as one of the metaverse’s recent marvels. The market has several individuals and brands to thank for its remarkable growth, breaking new records in the cryptocurrency world. Still, this piece of blockchain technology isn’t showing signs of slowing down. NFT sales are predicted to surge before 2022 ends. With that in mind, several brands are taking the opportunity to launch their projects while the NFT market is still hot, including the unique Otaku Origins.

Otaku Origins is a project developed by a couple of anime enthusiasts who aspire to bring their passion-driven project into the Solana NFT ecosystem, generating a world where fellow fanatics can live obliquely through their Otaku NFTs. The developers’ desire to create a world where they can merge the power of blockchain and anime is being put into motion, and there is no stopping them.

The collection boasts 5,000 unique NFTs, massively taking inspiration from some of the most well-known anime released over the years. Each Otaku NFT generated is infused with a random feature from a pool of over two hundred magnificently drawn traits across eight different categories. These traits eventually influence the NFT’s rarity, power, and uniqueness. Furthermore, each Otaku NFT is considered a 1 of 1 digital collectible that doubles as the holder’s ticket into the Otaku Indie DAO and the Otakuverse, giving them access to whatever event is going on in the space.

Like how most non-fungible tokens are depicted, the rarity of the qualities of the NFT substantially affects its overall value, so the team is introducing a new, significant variation between each NFT character, creating a new rarity metric that remains unmapped in the world of prolific NFT projects. Though ambitious, the team believes that they will advance using this approach.

“Every successful project has to start with a powerful creative and aesthetic design, and we feel that our artwork meets that standard,” the team states, adding that they aren’t looking to imitate what already exists but rather enhance the far more superior concepts that make the NFT ecosystem stand out. The developers’ ultimate goal is to establish a project that surpasses many creations, which is why they have pushed themselves to embed a functional and creative uniqueness into Otaku Origins.

Using their innovative procedures, not only will each Otaku NFT have individual features and be able to yield different weapons, but they will also have unique poses, which will eventually elevate the artwork and its overall value.

As a community-driven project, Otaku Origins wants to move forward and become the first indie manga publishing DAO, which primarily focuses on finding and sponsoring free-standing authors and artists to help them advance in their creative journey. Taking this into account, holders of Otaku NFTs will contribute to the project’s advancement and will be a vital part of how the project’s roadmap will develop in the future.

Furthermore, the project developers are set to expand into a gaming platform that draws inspiration from their very own Otaku NFTs and manga. Minting will be available from February 2, 2022, to February 8, 2022 where whitelisted individuals will be given a reduced price and additional airdrops for future collections.
