Comedy has grown into a lucrative venture over the years, with comedians taking it as a career and that career taking them all over the world to entertain people. Keith Ross Nelson has done just that for nearly 25 years and built a name out of it.

With performances across all fifty states in the United States and in virtually every part of the world, Keith Ross Nelson is contributing his quota to the comedy industry with the aim of expanding his portfolio and helping other comedic acts grow. He has extensive media appearances, such as Hulu’s Comedy Time and Entertainment Tonight. His film features include hit movies like Mobsters & Mormons and The R.M.

Keith Ross Nelson’s foray into comedy is his way of doing something he genuinely enjoys, and from California to Georgia, Saudi Arabia and South Korea, he has shared his talent and entertained people of different races. He has featured in notable publications like NY Weekly, Entertainment Monthly, LA Wire, LA Times, Daily News, Miami Wire, and many more.

Before his foray into comedy, Keith Ross Nelson was an accomplished athlete who had won three national championships in Masters High Jumping. He won second place in the World Masters Championships in 1998 and held on to the record for his age group between 2000 and 2007. He also holds a third-degree black belt in kung fu and is actively working on adding another title.

Comedy for Keith Ross Nelson was a thing of choice, and since building a career out of it, he has been known for his unique style of making jokes about himself and his looks. He looks way younger than his agehe looks and often makes jokes about that.

“My uniqueness is I look younger than my age, yet I’m willing to make jokes about exactly that. I’m an authentic person, and my act is the same. I have a unique act in that I’m like the cool old Dad who everyone seems to like,” Keith said.

Describing his motivation for taking up comedy, Keith explained: “I thought I had something different than other comedians out there in that I talked about middle age without actually seeming old.”

As he continues to roll with the tides of the entertainment industry and comedy business, Keith Ross Nelson sees the next five years as a new opportunity to expand his artistry. He has plans to appear in more movies and theatre productions and play a pivotal role in helping other performers grow in the comedy industry.

For a career that has spanned more than two decades, Keith Ross Nelson reminisces the journey and how he persevered through it all. He proved himself as a worthy talent in the comedy world and has maintained that standard over the years.

“I want people to understand that they can be good at something by perseverance. Staying consistent is a sure way to make it in any field nobody wins if they do not keep trying,” he said.
