How Rickey Greer Built an Entrepreneurial Empire, Speaks of Miraculous Cancer Recovery
Share on Facebook

Challenges are made to either make or break a person. In the case of Rickey Greer, challenges have pivoted him from one success story to another. Building a real estate company, opening a franchise empire, and surviving cancer–there truly is no stopping this visionary from reaching great heights.

Rickey Greer is the founder and CEO of Frontline Construction Co LLC, with offices located in both Tennessee and Mississippi. The company specializes in residential and commercial development projects, with its most recent undertaking found in Wiseman Estate located in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

“Ironically, when people inquire about my occupation, I don’t actually know what to say. Modestly stated, I’m simply a guy with a niche for real estate. But, if forced into grave detail: licensed realtor, real estate investor, real estate consultant, and general contractor might better encompass the specific roles I play within the industry,” Rickey explained. Wearing many hats and embracing diverse roles within his company, the entrepreneur has positioned Frontline Construction Co LLC to be a top-notch choice in both of its locations.

Greer shared that his passion for real estate began in 2006 when his friend’s mother remarked that he would make a remarkable agent. At that time, he was working as a computer technician, but he shared that he did not feel fulfilled nor content with his job. And so, without hesitations, Rickey enrolled himself in a real estate school, passed the state exam, landed a job at a local real estate company, and the rest was history. Closing one deal after another, he felt that he finally found his calling and always stayed optimistic about the limitless possibilities awaiting him in the real estate industry.

Despite keeping a steady momentum, the 2008 real estate crash forced Rickey out of business and left the career he grew to love. But despite the pause, the entrepreneur stayed driven to find his next meaningful venture. True enough, his entrepreneurial passion led him to the franchising industry.

Little did the entrepreneur know that saying goodbye to the real estate business would pave the way for many more doors to open for him. Greer owned and operated 10 to 15 stores across the country, opened a restaurant in Louisiana, started a staffing service, and even produced a Canadian artist. Still, he admits that the tremendous success he achieved was nothing compared to how he felt with real estate. Hence, in 2015, Rickey reinstated his real estate license while simultaneously building Frontline Construction Co LLC from the ground up.

After finding his groove in the real estate landscape again, Greer received grim news four years later as he was diagnosed with stage 3 Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer that affects the white cells in the bone marrow.

“The doctors stated that 95% of my blood cells were cancerous and instructed me to prepare a will. Nobody expected me to live. But God! After two years of intense chemotherapy treatment, a bone marrow transplant, and acute blindness, I am cancer-free! Going through such a challenging ordeal has given me a new outlook on life. I value each moment. Each day, I open my eyes, I am beyond grateful. I thank God for restored health and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others through my passion for real estate,” shared Greer. “I’m determined for my second chance to serve as the beginning of someone’s first chance–or whatever chance they’re on.”

After all of Greer’s efforts in building his community. He still finds time to partner with Habitat for Humanity. Greer partnerships allows him to provide services through Habitat for Humanity “Aging in Place” and “Senior Trust” programs. These programs are essential to helping seniors get their homes weatherized as well as getting critical areas repaired.

Frontline Construction is home to financial advisors, credit repair specialists, architects, mortgage finance specialists, designers, project managers, and realtors who are all committed to turning dreams into realities. Led by Rickey Greer, the company is on its way to becoming one of the largest investment, development, and construction companies across the United States.Learn more about Frontline Construction Co LLC on its website.
