Homie G NFTs Gear Up for a Phase 2 Push after Concluding Phase 1
Share on Facebook

Non-fungible tokens are the talk of the town. Many developers and artists launch their own NFT collections, hoping to become the next extensive collection to go moonshot. Unfortunately, not all of these blockchain creations see the light of day. That’s why when you see a collection like Homie G NFTs hit the second phase of its development, good things are likely to happen to the collection. Consequently, early entrants are sure to benefit as well.

Ethereum Homies, also known as Homie Gs, is a non-fungible token collection that’s quickly taking the blockchain network by storm. Recently, the group behind the token has announced that it has closed phase one of its project—minting the first batch of available tokens. Now, it’s gearing up for a second offering as the creators work hard to catch up with the demand for these artworks.

On its own, the Homie G artwork stands out. They’re not just beautifully made. They’re highly relatable, too, picking up inspiration from familiar characters and some of the latest fashion and music trends that bring color to people’s personalities. There are millions of possibilities with over two hundred personalities and all kinds of permutations that fit together like a seamless puzzle. Still, only 10,000 of these characters will ever see the light of day to give the project a sense of exclusivity.

But the artworks are but the surface of this NFT innovation. As one of the first batches ever to announce a metaverse adoption, Ethereum Homies looks to push the boundaries of the digital future. As soon as 5,000 mints go out to the public, the team behind the Homie Gs will begin rolling out execution plans for a metaverse build-up. First, the plan is to purchase virtual land in Sandbox, a fast-rising metaverse platform that people have looked to as one of the significant virtual world players.

“As the estate grows within Sandbox, we will begin having community engagement in deciding upon which advanced platforms to grow our ecosystem,” adds an anonymous team representative. “We’re looking at Wilder World or Netvrk once they are made public.”

There are also plans for community activities and events within that metaverse network, including virtual concerts and networking events that will drive more community support and engagement. Also part of the roadmap is a bunch of giveaways and exclusive offers. For one, at a quarter of the minting capacity, the team behind the Homie G NFT collection will start giving away one Ethereum to five lucky community members. At 50%, they will purchase Sandbox virtual real estate for community usage, such as concerts and networking events. Then, when the collection hits a 75% minting capacity, the team will launch a Homie G online drip store that will offer all kinds of merchandise that only community members and NFT holders will access. At 90%, 3D Voxel avatars of the Homie Gs will be made available to holders, and they can show off the avatars in the Sandbox metaverse.

The Homie G team has worked tirelessly, taking a community-first approach to creating more sustainable growth for the venture. “The team has worked tirelessly on this project for eight months, honing a highly-developed and quality product that represents everyone,” shares the official website. As phase two begins for the NFT offering, the company has announced that minting will begin on December 3, 2021.
