Eric Martel on Why Real Estate Rentals Is People’s Key to Financial Growth
Share on Facebook

People have looked to all kinds of investment tools to grow their wealth and beat their financial woes. There’s the stock market, cryptocurrency, forex, and all kinds of other investments. All these are great instruments. Still, according to many investment specialists and entrepreneurs, real estate is king. Eric Martel is one of those experts who has shown many people how to retire comfortably by investing in real estate rental properties.

Eric is one of the owners of MartelTurnkey, a real estate company that has seen massive growth in rental property investing. He has long been into real estate, with property deals across Canada and the United States. While studying Actuarial Mathematics in college, Eric started investing in multi-family properties. He was eighteen when he ran his first apartment. After graduating, he put his degree into action but started to lose heart after seeing how much of the retirement system was broken.

“I was dismayed to see hundreds of company pension plans being rolled over into 401(k)s shifting the retirement risk to employees,” shares Eric Martel. “This made me reconsider traditional beliefs about retirement saving.” He then decided to shift into tech startups. But in 2001, the Dotcom boom happened and wiped away years of Eric’s hard work. After that, things weren’t easy for him, but Eric later found his way back into real estate.

Now with over twenty-five years of management consulting experience, Eric Martel has become a top-notch real estate investor. On top of that, he has now written a book entitled “Stop Trading Your Time for Money,” which provides a roadmap that helps people reach financial success and retire early with enough to leave an inheritance to future generations.

The biggest key to Eric’s financial growth has been real estate. While most people think that real estate investing is only for generational wealth or comes with tons of headaches, Martel hopes to correct that mindset. Back when he lost everything, he was practically without any capital to start with. But what Martel did have was a great work ethic and a solid real estate investing  knowledge. Now, he’s ready to share that with anyone who wants to make it big in real estate investing.

Now, he takes time to coach people who want to start their real estate investing journey. In addition, he runs a podcast called “Break Away from the Rat Race,” where he discusses topics like real estate, business, investing principles and others with top-level realtors and entrepreneurs like Rich Fettke, Tim Milazzo, Thomas Staub, Joshua Miller, and many others. The show currently has a five-star rating on Apple Podcasts and provides value to thousands of listeners.

Martel also runs a coaching program that provides people with access to weekly one-on-one sessions, off-market deal listings, a network of real estate and mortgage professionals, a copy of Eric’s book, access to all kinds of industry data, and many other resources and learning materials. Eric hopes to help people achieve financial freedom through the program and build an army of real estate tycoons.

In all he does, Eric is driven by his desire to watch people thrive amidst life’s most difficult seasons through practical investing lessons. Learn more about Eric and his programs by visiting his website, TikTok, and Instagram profile.
