Often, the best way to activate a positive mindset shift is to be in the midst of like-minded people who are actively working towards big goals and dreams. In today’s digital world, non-fungible token (NFT) is one innovation that enables people to interact, connect and do things together. A new collection on the horizon that is propagating this quality of NFT is Bad Astro Society, a community that loves to have fun and pursue outrageous but attainable goals.
Based on the concept of space and outer world travel, Bad Astro Society NFT is a collection of 10,000 astronauts that gives holders exclusive access to real-life space travel that is otherwise reserved for ultra-rich individuals. Every holder of the Bad Astro Society NFT will get the said access by 2030 by simply owning one Bad Astro Society NFT. “Our goal is to purchase all 10,000 of our members a ticket to real-life outer space by 2030. A ticket that currently only the ultra-wealthy can afford. We want to use the NFT and crypto market to work for the members rather than just the founders,” a spokesperson for the project said.
Bad Astro Society NFT art features over 150 hand-drawn traits. Its main character is an everyday person wearing one of four different types of astronaut suits with different colors and patterns. The Bad Astro has the regular Astro suit, pimp suit, hoodie and gorilla suit iterated in ten different variations, which communicate different circumstances and messages. In addition, each Astro holds an object that depicts something fun, larger-than-life or some other history-changing concept.
Members of Bad Astro Society will get access to events, merchandise and a wide variety of brands. The community offers a sense of belonging that informs the holders that they can take control of their future regardless of their current circumstances or situation. “You can overcome and join those who have risen above their hardships, and now do whatever they want…like go to freaking space,” the project’s creators said.
With a growing social media presence on Twitter and Instagram, Bad Astro Society NFT is in a class of its own. The project targets NFT and cryptocurrency communities, especially people who have made a significant income from trading and minting NFTs and understand the process of owning and holding a token. This is especially important given that Bad Astro Society NFT has long-term goals, and the major benefit of holding the NFT will happen a few years from now.
Bad Astro Society NFT has a thriving community on Discord for interested holders to get to know more about the project and interact with other prospective holders. “There are currently no other projects out there claiming to send all of its NFT holders to real-life outer space. We can’t find any other NFT project that is using the crypto and NFT markets to benefit their holders to this degree. As for the art, it speaks for itself. Bad Astros have an exciting time doing what they want,” the team said.
